35c al June MANISTIQUE Mary Gorsche Becomes Bride Of Peter Nelli In a single ring ceremony Saturday in St. Francis de Church, Mary Magdalen Gorsche became the bride of Peter Nelli of Hancock. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Frank Z. Gorsche, 249 Maple and the late Mr.

Gorsche, and the bridegroom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Nelli. Attending as matron of honor was Georgia Nottoli, a sister of the bridegroom, and Lois Rozich, cousin, and Thelma Anderson Chicago, of the bride, as bridesmaids. Mary Elizabeth of Crystal Falls and Paula Jo Pastore, South Range, nieces of the bride were flower girls.

The ring bearer was Antony Gorsche, a nephew of the bride. John Gorsche, a brother of the bride was best man and groomsmen were Peter Gorsche, brother of the bride and Robert Mrs. Windsor Dies Downstate Mrs. Ila Orville Windsor, 60, of South Haven, a former Manistique resident, died Sunday in Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo. She was born June 22, 1904 in Manistique.

Surviving are her husband, seven sons by a former marriage: Alfred Larion and Patrick. Eugene, Melvin, Wilton Junction, Kenneth, Covert, Dale, Douglas, and Robert of South Haven, two stepsons, Orville Windsor of Manistique and Lauren Windsor, Milwaukee: one daughter Mrs. Dolores Morrison, South Haven: three step-daughters; Mrs. Conrad Jahn, and Mrs. Robert White, Manistique, and Mirs.

Donald DeGrand, Oshkosh, three sisters, Mrs. Irene Ahlversen, Manistique, Mrs. Dorthy Philips, Fair Grove, and Mrs. Ethel Gary of Beulah, and two brothers, Ralph Laux of Muskegon and Vern Laux of Detroit. Friends may call at the Messier Broullire Funeral Home after 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Liturgical prayers will be recited at p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Church, with burial in Fair View Cemetery.

Recreation Unit Announces Start Of Activities Young men and those not SO young interested in playing in A softball or slow pitch league are asked to meet at the softball field Tuesday, June 15 at 7 p.m. The Recreation department also announces that a "bandshell" dance will be held nesday, June 23 from 8 1 to 11 m. It will be the first of the season. Boys 13 through 15 interested in playing baseball are asked to sign up at the hospital diamond June 17 and 18 at 2 p.m. If sufficient interest is shown a 4-team league will be organized.

Arts and crafts for elementary youngsters will begin June 21 at 9:30 a.m., at Lakeside school. The weekly schedule calls for sessions at Lakeside school Mondays and Wednesdays and Lincoln school Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a -school session to be held at the Youth Center Fridays at 10 a.m. Recreation baseball will begin June 21 at 2 p.m. The swimming program is scheduled to get underway June 23. The matron of honor wore a street-length gown of pink silk lace over taffeta with matching jacket and shoulder-length headpiece, velvet ring. The bridesmaids' gowns were similar, in apple green. They carried cascades of pink roses.

The flower girls were attired in white sleeveless dresses with matching boleros and white cummerbunds, made by Ann Marusich. The bride's gown and those of her made by Dorothy attendantardere The church altar was decorated with pink and white gladiola and pink sweetheart roses. Altar boys were Anton and Michael Marusich, and John Pastore, newphews of the bride and Charles Nottoli, nephew of the bridegroom. A reception followed in the Elks Temple with music by the Swing Kings. Miss Marie Kinkel presided at the coffee table.

Mrs. Lawrence G. Gorsche was in charge of the guest book and Mrs. Don Martin was in charge of the gift table. After a wedding trip to an undisclosed destination, they will make their home at Rte.

1, Manistique. The bride is a graduate of Michael Reese Hospital School of Nursing. The bridegroom is a graduate of Jeffers High School in Painesdale. Briefly Told Frank 305 N. Cedar, was taken by ambulance to Schooleraft Memorial Hospital at 4:25 p.m., Friday.
