Miss Margaret Hamilton led 2nd and 3rd Grades out to the Tli Schram Grove for their picnic dinner Thursday. Miss Margaret delightfullv entertained her little ones and thev aft returned to their homes happy though tired. Miss Thelma Roberts who substituted for Miss Mooney in the 4th and 5th Grades treated her nupils to a picnic out at the at Whitefish Thursday Games and contests were enjoved after which a hearty picnic dinner was served.

Miss Irene Doeteh and her sixth puolls to the Rapid River Falls Thursday for their school closing picnic. After the usual good time a bountiful dinner was served. Evervone returned to their homes happy and glad that they were in on such a wonderful good time. Superintendent Prin. W.

The Directors of the Rapid River Co-op Creamery held their regular meeting at the Creamery office Thursday afternoon with six Directors present. John Grandchamp resigned as Director and stockholder. Leater White left Wednesday to work at the Buckeye camp at Sour. Ronald White started to work in the J. A.

Forest shop Friday. Ronald has considerable city practice in the barber line and comes here well recommended. The Mackie brothers of Gladstone attended the Senior class dance here Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs.

Curtis Christainson of Gladstone attended Graduation exercises here Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. John Lind of Spur spent a few hours in town Sunday afternoon. Next week will be a big week for the Kiddles and also for some of the grown ups as Skerbeck will be here.

When you hear music in the air, you need not think a band is in town it's just music lhat goes with the Merry-go- round Every year the Skerbecks visit Rapid River and are always welcomed as they bring good clean shows and amusement. A large number of people attended the Class Day program Monday evening. The graduating class this year includes five pupils, four girls and one hoy. Miss Mildred Renslar of Gladstone visited her mother here Thursday evening Oscar Froberg came near losing one of his farm horses Wednesday. It not come home with its mate Tuesday and they commenced to search for It but did not discover it until Wednesday. It was mired in a mud hole near the Creek and could not go out. They Immediately called a crowd of men from around the neighborhood and with some difficulty managed to get it out. The horse was hungry and in a weakened condition but otherwise all right.
