BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WINTER GARDEN: Section 1. That it is deemed advisable and.

to the best interests of the Town of Winter, Garden and its inhabitants to construct water works, purchase and maintain electric light works, to construct a sewerage system and to construct a Town Hall, all within the town limits of the Town of Winter Garden, for the use and benefit of the inhabitants thereof, and to pay the costs thereof to issue negotiable coupon bonds of the said Town of Winter Garden to the, amount of $42,000.00 for the construction of said water works, $8,000.00 for the purchase and maintenance of said electric light works, $15,000.00 for the construction of said sewerage system and $5,000.00 for the ponstruction of said Town-Hall, said bonds to aggregate the amount of $70,000.00. Section 2. That the bonds proposed to be issued shall be in the denomination of $100.00 and $500.00 each, and shall all mature and become due and payable thirty (30) years after the date thereof. Said bonds shall bear interest at the rate of 6 per cent. ii D.

1919 the Registration Books of the Town of Winter Garden for the purpose of registering the qualified electors of the Town of Winter Garden who are qualified to vote at the special bond election provided for in said ordinance, to be held on the 5th day of July, A. D. 1919, at which election the question to be voted on is whether or not the Town of Winter Garden shaU issue its negotiable coupon bonds to the amount of $42,000.00 for construction of water works, for the purchase and maintenance of electric light works, for the construction of a sewerage system and $5,000.00 for the construction of a Town Hall. All qualified electors of the said Town residing therein who are free holders of saij town and own real estate in said town and have paid the town taxes thereon last due, shall be entitled to register as a qualified voter for such bond election. The Registration Books will be closed on the 30th day of July.

In Chancery. Mattie McLeod vs. Lewis McLeod. Divorce. To Lewis McLeod: It appearing from the affidavit of J.

H. Jones, herein duly filed that he is of counsel for the complainant; that the defendant Lewis McCleod resides in Brunswick, Georgia; that there is no person in the State cf Florida service of subpoena upon whom will bind the defendant, and that the defendant is above the age of twenty one years. You are therefore ordered to appear to this Bill on Monday the 7th day of July, A. D. 1919, the same being a Rule Day of this Court.

It is further ordered, that this notice 1e published for four consecutive weeks, in the Mcrning Sentinel, a newspaper published in Orange County, Florida. Witness my hand and official seal shall immediately proceed to count the votes cast at said election and make out a detailed list, showing the number of votes cast for and against each purpose, and shall certify such lists in duplicate and shall hand one of such certified lists securely sealed to the Mayor and the other to the Town Clerk. Upon the day following said election or as soon thereafter as practicable, the Town Council shall meet and canvass the, returns and cer-tifythe result of said election. In the event that any of said election officers named and appointed by the Mayor in said proclamation shall refuse or fail to serve as such officer, the Mayor shall fill such vacancies by further appointment. Section 6.

That the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to open the Town Registration Books for the purpose of registering the qualified voters of said election. All the qualifed electors of said town, resid ing therein, who are free holders of said town, who own real estate in said town and have paid their town taxes per annum, payaDie semi-annually, and the interest and principal thereof, no the same matures, shall be due and payable at the Hanover National Bank of New York, New York, and for the payment of the principal and interest thereon, when due, there shall be levied and collected an annual special tax on all taxable property in the Town of Winter Garden, sufficient to pay the interest as the same be- comes due and payable, and to viAe a sinkintr fun for the redemp- tion and payment of the principal of same at the maturity inereoi. thereon last due, shall be entitled to register as qualified voters for such bond election. Said Registration Books shall be. opened by the Town clerk at his office -at least twenty days before' the date fixed for the holding of said special election and he shall keep the same open until ten prior to the date fixed for the holdinc of said election for the nnr- vote.

A. Heinisch and charming daughter of Clarcona came up Thursday afternoon for the ball game and remained oyer for the entertainment in the evening. Mrs. Hyde and little Julia returned Thursday from Lakeland where they have been visiting Captain Hyde. A very enjoyable entertainment and dance was given in the city hall on Thursday night by the younger set of this section.

Announcement of the marriage Harold C. Corton, June the first in Kansas City to Miss Eulala Ruth Gorman have been received by some of his many friends in Apopka. Amongst those departing Saturday for the summer normal school at Gainesville were Misses Orlin Rench-1 er and Sue Whannie Womble and Mrs. Mamie Lou Stephens. Mr.

Mrs. PaulW. Smart of Orlando has been visiting friends here this week. Miss Edith Corton left Friday for Miami where she 'will visit friends for a portion of the summer. City council met in regular session Monday night and transacted much important business.

Coal exporters in the United States are to be furn- ished bottoms through the new Coal Export Department of the Sipping Board sufficient to carry 200,000 tons of coal more than the present available shipping affords. This additional tonnage, coal exporters say, will make it possible to ship from to 1,800,0000 tons coal to Europe by the end of the present year. The arrangement for additional shipping was announced by the Export Coal Department of the shipping Board following the conference held last week with coal operators.

Exporters hope that the shipping promised will help increase production in the mines of the country which will bring about a more satis factory condition in the labor market. Docs not n- A.
