While strolling through Kden Park yester day afternoon Robert Smith, an ex-policeman, was struck by a peculiar odor while lescending a bush-clad slope near the reser voir. Making an investigation he made i most horrifying discovery.

From indications the roan had been dead for a conple ef days at least. Running to the gate-house he notified the Water-Works watchmaa. who summoned a patrol wagon 1 be body was removed to the Morgue and Coroner Rendiga notified. A search of the clothing worn by the corpse brought to light an old silver watch and a note-book in wnich was scrawled a fareaell letter, which given below.

Nothing was found that would lead to the identification nf the remains.
