Wednesday, November 26. Board Okays Regulations For Airport. A. thick stack of papers covering everything from taxing instructions to bomb threats -is for the Denton City Council for consideration. The stack contains rules and regulations for the Demon Municipal Airport and they were approved Tuesday by the Airport Advisory Board.

Most of the regulations, according to, Airport Manager Jim Horn, are in effect or in ordinance form already. -But, if approved, they will serve as rules of operation available to anyone visiting the airport. Horn drew up the regulations after visiting several airports considered "model," and adapted part to local conditions. The board, after several revisions, made formal The'next stop is the. council.

The state-funded Crime Prevention Unit formally will kick off its efforts next week during "Crime Prevention Week." Grand Jury Returns FM Takes Seven Indictments The Denton County Grand Jury returned seven indictments Tuesday, two of them against persons for drug- related offenses. James Leroy Pickens, 57, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Regina Ann Alberts, 25, of Fairlawn, were indicted for delivery of the controlled substance, ephedrine.

Denton Police Sgt. Jim Wilson arrested the pair Oct. 30 at a Denton truck stop after the pair allegedly sold him the illegal drugs. Also indicted Tuesday were Alvin Barnard, 20, and Deanna Barnard, 18, both of Lewisville, for possession of amphetamines. Lewisville police raided the Barnard residence Oct.

Water Issue To Lawyers The Town of Flower Mound filed a suit in 158th District Court Monday asking Judge Bob Scofield to decide what obligations Flower Mound Municipal Utility District No. 1 (FM- MUD) has to provide water to the town. According to the suit. FMMUD agreed to sell the town water in contracts signed in 1973 and -1975, but the district "has refused and still refuses to provide such services, although it is capable of doing so and has a sufficient supply of water to provide such water service."
