(UPI) The Coast Guard searched by air and sea today for nine passengers still missing after their boat capsized in the Chesapeake Bay during a' fierce storm that struck Tidewa-" ter Virginia. At least four persons were drowned when the 42-foot fishing boat Dixie Lee overturned yesterday 'in heavy seas and gale force winds several miles east the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel.

Fourteen passengers were pulled to safety, most by persons on a nearby craft. Authorities identified three of the dead as the captain of the Dixie Lee II, 59-year-old Harrison Lewis, 43-year-old Evelyn Baker Lee and Audrey Stiff, age tinknown. Their hometowns were not immediately known. One survivor, identified as Vernice "Norfleet, was listed in serious condition "today at a Norfolk hospital. A Coast Guard spokesman said two patrol boats using huge spotlights -searched through the night for the passengers and 'at least three air-; craft joined the search early today.

TheSfetorm, accompanied by golf ball-sized hail and wind gusts up to 98 mph, also downed power lines, collapsed a fishing pier, uprooted trees sent scaffolding crashing down at a 'shipbuilding dock. Coast Guard cutters and helicopters were aided1 in their search for passen- gers by a powerful airborne beacon capable of illuminating as much as one square mile at a time. The storm collapsed a 600-foot section of the Ocean View fishing pier and blew the roof off a nearby apartment building. Russell E. Weston, Wniteland and Charles Gerald Weston, Co Harry M.
