Miss Nancy Mabel Botelho, 19, was a passenger in a car driving by the bar when the snooting occurred. Two other persons were wounded. The driver of the car carrying Miss Botelho sped away and crashed into a pole before he ran away and disappeared, leaving the fatally wounded girl and two other persons.

Police believe the fatality occurred accidentally and were investigating a variety of stories about the shooting. There were no arrests. GIs To Stay In S.
