iiMfcS, 15C A documentary'is seldom objective HOT VWnnTM IT; HOLLYWOOD Viewers who accept TV documentaries as gospel should know such shows seldom end up as actual studies in objectivity. That fact is pointed out by someone who should know: William Kronick, producer-writer-director of Warner April 20 CBS special "Mysteries of the Great Pyramid." Whether it's the popular "60 Minutes" or the sort of one-subject show Kronick specializes in, the word documentary' that's attached to them, he says, "leads people to believe reality is represented. But that's seldom true, because seldom are both sides of the issue given equal representation. And often one side isn't shown at all." Kronick defends his "Mysteries of the Great Pyramid" documentary as being different from the rest, for though it went through the typical editing process, it was impossible for a point of view to be taken about a monument about whose history no real truths are known.
