Traffic was rerouted to Massachusetts but became snarled on the two-lane street as motorists attempted to get around the crash. One patrolman's car was tied up in the traffic jam as he attempted to reach the accident scene. More traffic jams were created on narrow side streets as motorists on Sherman tried to detour to get by the intersection.

117, which establishes the size limit and closed season for the taking, catching, killing, and possessing of certain fish now protected by law, to-wit: It has been determined that it is necessary to provide special regulations for certain waters of the State for the purpose of improving fishing; it shall be unlawful for any person to kill or possess or attempt to kill or possess any largemouth bass less than 12 inches in total length from the following lakes: J. C. Murphy, Willow Slough Fish and Game Area, Newton County, and Springs Valley, Springs Valley Fish and Game Area, Orange County. This restriction on J. C.

Murphy Lake shall be in effect from April 15, 1965 to December 31, 1967, both dates inclusive; the restriction on Springs Valley Lake shall be in effect from June 16, 1965 to December 31, 1967, both dates inclusive. It is necessary 10 close the season of fishing from the waters of Monroe Reservoir and its tributaries upon land owned by Federal government to permit the necessary propagation of Largemouth bass and other game fishes. This restriction shall be in effect from April 15, 1965 to June 15, 1966, both dates inclusive. It is necessary to extend the present restriction of it being unlawful to kill or possess more than 2 Northern Pike, any of which are under the length of in Starve Hollow Lake, Jackson County, to preserve the adult population to continue experimental studies on the propagation of Northern Pike. This restriction shall be in effect from April 15, 1965 to April 14, 1966, both dates inclusive.

it is necessary to close certain waters of the state to all fishing for a period of 5 days prior the opening of the trout fishing season in streams for the purpose of protecting artificially reared front which are stocked prior to the season in the below described waters: That portion of the Pigeon River extending from state highway 327 in Steuben County to the Ontario Mill Pond Dam in LaGrange County, and tributary streams emptying into the Pigeon River which include Harding Run, Curtis Creek, Graveyard Run, Bloody Run, and that portion of Turkey Creek in LaGrange County which lies north of State highway 20, and Rainbow Pit located 1.1 miles east of the town of Ontario in LaGrange County. Mongo Mill Pond in LaGrange County will be excluded in these regulations. This closed season shall be in effect from April 26, 1965 to April 30, 1965, both dates inclusive.
