'M Folk Singers At iMurat Nov. 16 The Chad Mitchell Trio will eppear In a program Nov. 16 tt the Murat Theater. The folk-singing group and Mercury recording stars have appeared in concert at New York City's Carnegie Hall and Town Hall and in the Chicago and Minneapolis auditoriums.

Television appearances include Ed Sullivan, Today, the Telephone Hour and Hooten-anny. The program is being presented by Sam K. Sims who presented Erroll Garner in concert last season in Strauss Exhibit To Open An exhibition of the paintings and drawings by Mary Beth Strauss will open Sunday at Park Avenue Galleries to continue through Nov. 31. Mrs.

Strauss studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and received her bachelor's degree from a University, where she studied with Ray French. She received her master's of fine arts from New York University. Before coming to Indianapolis, Mrs. Strauss taught at Montclair State College in New Jersey. Her work has been shown at the Indiana Artists Exhibition, the Herron Museum of Art, the Wabash Valley regional and the Stonington Gallery in Connecticut New York galleries with whom she has Play it safe; wear your seat belt when driving.

HSU The wonderful, wonderful story of Mary, Mary, who said. not start something By CHARLES STAFF Dr. Kildare should have stuck to the hospital where there are good, clean sick people. Richard Chamberlain, who plays the young doctor in the TV series, makes his film de but in Loew's "Twilight of Honor." Though it staggers the imagination to think of him in such surroundings, the movie, a courtroom murder drama, features the sickest characters and most lurid dialogue to hit the screen in a long time. in a cab we can't finish on 44th Street." TEomaui9 RICHARD t.

BREEN Directed by UERVTN UROt OPEN 11:45 ME 7-3443 Poor Chamberlain keeps up his boyish grin throughout most of the proceedings and, consequently, comes over like an embarrassed choir boy who has accidentally wandered into the parlor of a bawdy house. His studio, MGM, suffered a complete lapse of taste in senselessly casting this young actor, an idol of many teen-aged girls, in such a picture but it did give him sturdy supporting players: Claude Rains, James Gregory, Jeanette Nolan, Nick Adams and Joan Blackman. The film also introduces Joey Heatherton, who goes through some vamping gyrations that would have made Theda Bara blush. Chamberlain defends Adams who has murdered a respected, wealthy member of a New Mexico community. His defense rests on the fact that the victim was committing adultery with Adams' wife, Miss Heatherton, at the time of the killing.

On the credit side, the courtroom trickery on both sides of the case adds up to some sus-penseful entertainment. And there are a few romantic moments between Chamberlain and Miss Blackman, some fatherly sessions between Chamberlain and Rains and an old-fashioned Hollywood "miracle" ending. Keith's Theater will have a sneak preview of a James Stewart and Sandra Dee comedy in color Sunday at 7:30 In conjunction with "downtown merchants bargain day" Monday, the Circle and Keith's will have a free showing of "Atlantis and the Lost Continent" from 10:30 a.m. until about 4:30 p.m. The Indiana also has scheduled a 2 o'clock matinee of "How the West Was Won," not for free.
