Rites were held today at Florence, Ala, for Otto N. Mueller, former Indianapolis engineer and architect who supervised moving of the old Indiana Bell Telephone Co. building.

In 1930, while employed with the former Indianapolis architectural firm of Vonnegut, Bohn Mueller, he engineered the moving of the 8-story Bell Telephone building.

It was an engineering feat that attracted world-wide attention. Without interrupting service, the structure was moved back 52 feet from Meridian and turned 90 degrees to face New York to make way for the present telephone headquarters. Francis Hospital, Earl C. Lippard Rites Tomorrow Services for Earl C. Lippard, Clermont building contractor, will be tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. in the Clermont Christian Church, with burial in Clermont Cemetery. Age 72, Mr.

Lippard died yesterday at St Vincent's Hospital. Surviving are the widow, Lela; three daughters, Mrs. William Berry and Mrs. Robert Anderson, Clermont, and Mrs. Gene Roberts, Speedway; two sons, Earl and Todd, both of Brownsburg; two brothers, Walter and Clyde Lippard, and a sister, Mrs.

Clyde Dobyns, all of Clermont. Robert S. Settle Services for Robert Samuel Settle, 60, Acton, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the J. C.

Wilson Southport Funeral Home. Burial will be in Acton Cemetery. A lifelong resident of Marion County, he was an electrician at the Marion County Courthouse. He died Monday at his home. He is survived by the widow, Marie; a son, Pfc.
