Monday in Moore Kirk Northeast Chapel, with burial in Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery. He died yesterday in Veterans Ad ministration Hospital on West 10th. His home was at 3062 N. Euclid. life resident here, Mr.

Robbins joined the Fire Department in June, 1921 and retired in March, 1944 because of impaired health. He served most of his career at Station 13. Mr. Robbins was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Veritas Masonic Lodge, and the Indiana Firemen's Association.

Survivors are the widow, Cleo Robbins, and a brother, Frank L. Robbins. Miles Burial in Holy Cross William G. Miles, 46, 4510 Gadsden, will be buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, after services at 8:30 a.m. Monday in the George W.

Usher Mortuary and at 9 a.m. in St. Ann's Catholic Church. He was killed Thursday by falling coal at the Republic Creosoting Co. Born at Washington, Mr.

Miles had lived here 20 years. He had worked for the lic Company 10 years and was a veteran of World War I. Mr. Miles was a member of St. Ann's Church.

Survivors are the widow, Anna Mae Miles; three sons, Samuel L. and Frederick, Miles, Indianapolis; six sisters, Ann Patterson, Matilda Wildridge and Lorene Cannon, Washington; Teresa Crowley, Detroit, Rose Blythe, in Florida, and Helen Williams, Evansville, and a brother, Martin Miles, East St. Louis, Ill. Nellie Reinking Services for Nellie Reinking, 72, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Shirley Brothers Central Chapel, with burial in Concordia Cemetery, She died yesterday in her home, 1702 E.

75th. Born in Ohio, Mrs. Reinking had lived here more than 50 years. She was a member of Nettie Ransford Chapter, ern Star, 25 years. She was devoted to her three grandchildren, Charles, Rebekah and Nathan Reinking.

Other survivors are two sons, Arthur P. and Dr. Arrell C. Reinking; four sisters, Lois Bell, Winifred and Lillie Lancaster, and Edna Bell. wfbm 9:30 a.m.

Mrs. Kretsch's husband, Cass Kretsch, Indianapolis pharmacist, died in 1930. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Flanner Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Besides the daughter, a brother, Frank Woodling, St.

Louis County, Missouri, survives. Gerber Burial in Crown Hill Services for William W. Gerber, 88, directed by Tolin Herr Memorial Chapel, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the home of a daughter, Helen Baker, 1418 Hoefgen, where he died Thursday. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Born at Atlanta, Mr. Gerber had lived here 65 years. He was a retired employee of the old Atlas engine works and a member of the Lutheran besides Mrs. Baker, are other daughters, Anna Fesler and Mary Woempner, 10 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Carrie Nation, 76, to Be Buried in Johnson County Carrie J.

Nation, 76, was often the target for teasing because her married name was the same as that of the onetime Prohibitionist of ax-wielding fame. A resident of 1622 E. Raymond, she died Thursday in a nursing home. Born in Johnson County, Mrs. Nation lived here since 1913.

Her husband, Allen Nation, a teamster, died in 1912, and, because she was determined to keep her family together, she set out to -make her own way. She did odd jobs and worked for a time at VanCamp Packing Co. Mrs. Nation was a member of the Methodist Church. Services will be at 1:30 Monday in Cecil R.

Hurt Shefield Chapel, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Johnson County. Survivors are a daughter, Hazel B. Scaggs; four sons, Virgil, Cecil, Roy and William A. Nation; a sister, Cordia Dillow, and two grandchildren.

Frank Ulrey Frank (Shorty) Ulrey, 77, 416 W. Washington, will be buried in Holy Cross Cemetery after services at 8:30 a.m. Monday in the Grinsteiner Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. John's Catholic General Church.

An early member of Shara Tefilla Congregation, he was on the building committee for the construction of the present temple. He was also a member also of the Zionist Organization, B'nai B'rith, the Borinstein Home for the Aged and Monument Masonic Lodge. Survivors are the widow, May Sagalowsky, and a brother, Sam Sagal, Beverly Hills, Cal. Ella May Haldeman, 83, was found dead of a heart attack yesterday in her home at 5020 W. 16th, where she had lived six years.

A life resident of Indianapolis, Mrs. Haldeman formerly lived 55 years at 1606 Rembrandt. Her husband, William Park Haldeman, a city fireman, died in 1922. Busy fingers were the rule for Mrs. Haldeman.

She was constantly crocheting attractive articles for gifts. Mrs. Haldeman was a member of Union Congregational Church, Queen Esther Chapter of Eastern Star and the Woman's Auxiliary of the Fire Department. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Conkle West 16th Street Funeral Home, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A daughter and two sons are deceased. They were Ruth Haldeman, who died nine years ago; Charles Haldeman, who died four years ago, and Otto (Bud) Haldeman, who died in 1937. A sister, Carrie Barnes, died a month ago. Survivors are three daughters, Blanche Copenhaver, Mary Dietz and Crystal Strouse, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted here tomorrow for Zelpha Grund, 103- year-old native of Dekalb County. Mrs. Grund, a life-long resident of this community, died Thursday in a convalescent home. She was a dressmaker here until two years ago when failing health forced her to enter the nursing home. Mrs.

He operated the Pritchard, grocery at the corner of Churchman and Raymond. He retired in 1940. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Floyd Newman; three sons, Lebert Paul L. and Arthur C.

Pritchard; two sisters, Allie Holdcroft and Annie Hamblin; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Prentice Trice Ruby Trice, 46, will be buried in New Crown Cemetery after rites at 1 p.m. Monday in Jacobs Brothers West Side Chapel. She died Thursday in her home, 724 W.

25th. Born at Henry, Mrs. Trice had lived here 28 years. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors are the husband, Prentice Trice; four sisters, Iona Haynes, Betty Ridley, Edith Wood and Lassie Morris; a brother, Walter Clerk, and her mother, Mrs. Ella Greer. Bette G. Stultz Bette Gale Stultz, 12, 1155 Fletcher, died yesterday at Butlerville, where she had been a patient six years. She was a native of Indianapolis.

The 72 neon bulbs and component parts, plus a mass of radio tubes, provide the tonal sounds.
