THE INDIANAPOLIS NEWS Friday, December 6, 1957 12 Wolf Rites to Be Here Monday Services for Fred A. Wolf, 64, former Indianapolis resident, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Harry W. Moore Peace Chapel here, with burial in Washington Park Cemetery. He died Tuesday in Vallejo, California.

Born here, Mr. Wolf lived here until nine years ago. A retired salesman, he sold lots in Washington Park Cemetery when it was first started. Mr. Wolf was a member of Centre Masonic Lodge.

He was a veteran of World War I. His wife, Lillian Wolf, died in 1954. Survivors are two sisters, Bess McAllister and Bertha Ayres, and a brother, Robert Wolf. Eliza McKinney Services for Eliza McKinney, 70, 1134 Fayette, will be at 1 p.m, tomorrow in New Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at Jacob Brothers West Side Chapel. Born at Greenville, Mrs. McKinney had lived here six years. Survivors are the husband, Dock McKinney; a daughter, Lynn Rainey, and five sons, Dave, Anthony, James and Nora Williams, a and Johnnie Williams, Leland, Miss. PENNEY'S FIRST QUALITY! Maher, former resident of 816 N. Hamilton, would have been 91 next April. He died yesterday in an Indianapolis hospital. Born at Greencastle, Mr. Maher was the son of Patrick Maher, who came to this country from Ireland.

He had lived here since 1900. As a boy, Mr. Maher started to work on the Monon Railroad, later becoming conductor on the Lafayette line. Then he worked for the old Atlas engine works as foreman. Later, for a time, he worked for the Citizens Gas Mrs.

David Valentine Services for Cecelia Elizabeth Valentine, 89, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in King King Funeral Home, with burial in New Crown Cemetery. She died Wednesday in her home, 2742 James. Born at Slaughters, Mrs. Valentine had lived here 55 years.

She was a member of the Church of the First Born Saints. Survivors are the husband, David Valentine; two daughters, Beatrice Bernice Wallace and Marie McElroy, and two sons, Charles and Roy John L. Rogers Is Dead at 47 John L. Rogers, 47, 2418 Holt died today en route to a hospital. Born at London, Mr.

Rogers had lived here 30 years. He had been an offbearer at the Fairmount Glass Works for a year. Previously for 24. years he worked for the Indianapolis Bleaching Co. Services will be at 1:30 p.m.

Much of her spare time Mrs. Mrs. George Smith Jane W. Smith, 58, 3322 W. 10th, will be buried in Floral Park Cemetery after services at 1 p.m.

tomorrow in Conkle West 16th Street Funeral Home. She died Wednesday in Methodist Hospital. Born in Darke County, Ohio, Mrs. Smith had lived here eight years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Christian Church at Eaton.

Survivors are the husband, George A. Smith; a son, Don E. Smith, Indianapolis; three daughters, Oguerite Hillman, Eaton; Marguerite Addis, Toledo, and Vada Booth, Converse; two brothers, Harvey Sanders, Rossburg, 0., and Delbert Sanders, Union City; three sisters, Opal Drake, Piqua, and Ida Husted and Louella Mendenhall, Rossburg, and six grandchildren. Edgar L. Barnett Services for Edgar Leroy Barnett, 35, 645 W.

28th, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Patton Funeral Home, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. He died Wednesday in Veterans Administration Hospital on West 10th. Mr. Barnett was a veteran of World War II.

A life resident here, he worked 10 years as repairman in Nick's Shoe Repair Shop. He was a member of Community Baptist Church and Tillman-Harpole American Legion Post. Survivors are the widow, Jessie Barnett; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Barnett; two brothers, Clarence and Theodore Barnett, and three sisters, Norma Saxton and Edwina Barnett, Indianapolis, and Clara Alderson, Detroit, Michigan.

Charles J. Bivin Services for Charles J. Bivin, 87, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Flanner Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. He died yesterday in his home, 232 Buckingham Dr.

Born at Greencastle, Mr. Bivin had lived here 20 years after retiring as a real estate broker at Bloomington. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors are the widow, Mary C. Bivin; a daughter, Mrs.

Harold Woody, Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. S. D. Fair, Bloomington, and one grandchild. Ruth Christensen Ruth Christensen, 55, 3454 N.

Pennsylvania, died today in Community Hospital. A life resident here, Mrs. Christensen was a member of SS Peter and Paul Cathedral. Her husband, Otto Christensen, died about 17 years ago. Kirby Mortuary is arranging services.

Survivors are two sons, Don E. and David Anthony Christensen, and two sisters, Gertrude Wolfrede and Grace Fulmer. Marie M. Grout Marie Mars Grout, 74, Kansas City, died Wednesday at the home of a son, Leonard M. Grout, 5704 Ralston.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in D. W. Newcomers Sons Funeral Home, Kansas City, with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery there.

She died Wednesday night in Methodist Hospital of injuries suffered when she was beaten and robbed Tues- day night, in her home, 29 E. McCarty. A widow, Mrs. Schilling was a life resident here. Sha was a member of Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church.
