Byrne Is Elected President of Officers Wives Club Mrs. Albert H. Byrne was elected president of the Officers Wives Club of the Blythoville Air Force Base when the club held a luncheon at the Rustic Inn Tuesday. Those elected to serve with Mrs. Byrne were Mrs. Louis D. Philipp, first vice-president; Mrs. Herbert G. Rhode, .second vice-president; Mrs. Joseph G. Runco. corresponding secretary; Mrs. Robert Me- Laughlin, recording secretary; and Mrs. Phillip L. Deal, treasurer. Guests oi the club were Mrs Ruth Hooker of Chicago who is visiting her daughter, Mrs. C. Clifton, and Mrs. A. R. McLauyhlin of Topeka, Kans., who is visiting her Rose Billingsiey Honored on Seventh Birthday Churlyn Rose Billim^ley celebrated her seventh birthday Tuesday when her mother, Mrs. Charles Biflingsley, entertained with a party at the.home of Charlyn's grandmother, Mrs. H. C. Carter. Tiie affiar was a lawn party with favors of hats, whistles and candy being presented io the 18 guests. In the games played Carol Laverne and Gary Meadow were winners. Refreshmenas of ice cream, birthday cake and iced drinks were served, Mrs. Harrell Davis and Mrs. Gary Meadows assisted in serving. Coming Events THURSDAY Mid-Week Club meeting: with Mrs. Aubrey Conway. Duplicate Bridge League meets. Altrusa Club meets. Lottie Moon YWA meeting with Betty Crocker. Those elected were Delores Lum, president; Laveda Grim, vice-president; Pat Willingham, secretary; Rene Hays, chaplain; Donna Sue King, treasurer and Peggy Caperton, reporter.
