Asked by commission chairwoman Yvonne Leung whether he had any fears about placing the project so near to a psychiatric hospital Severin replied that the considerable lot space surrounding each of the buildings, including the hospital; alleviates any such worries.

Again, Griepentrog and Queen objected to the project Griepentrog said he was concerned that the residential units wouldn't sell and that the developers would turn the area into an office park, while Queen said the Lincoln market is currently oversaturated with empty lots and can't absorb any more. Doug Cyr, 3401 Fox Hollow Circle, agreed that there was "an overabundance of platted and improved lots in Lincoln. To increase it by over 200 units seems to be counterproductive." Severin allowed as how there are many empty lots in the city, but he. stressed that the development wouldn't be done overnight and that a bank, as financier, would ultimately decide the project's viability.
