A Thurston county team won the senior division event in 4-H livestock judging. Members of the winning junior 4-H team were Ed Born, Curtis, John Guenther, and Michael I len- nessy, both of Onalaska. The team scored 913.5 points. Thurston county placed second with 800.1 points. The top five 4-H youngsters and points scored 315.2 points; were: Ed Guenther, Born, 311.

Hennessy, 286.4; Susan Weaver, Onalaska, 285; and Fred Colvin, Tcnino, 278.5 points. In the division, the top five scorers were: Ron Nelson, Oyhnpia, 322.3 points; Susan Tomchick, Tcnino, 318.8; Mary'Ann Griesen, Olympia, 292.2; Patty Seymour, Tumwater, 287.2 and Phyllis Hillstrom, Oakville, 281 points. The winning Thurston county team in senior livestock judging scored 933.3 points, with Lewis county placing second with 795.6 points.
