S. I DearHeloise: Just what is sun tea and how do you make it? Mrs. T.T. I have used this for years, luv. take loose tea and put some in the bottom of a clean fruit jar.

Fill the jar with hot water from the tap and cap the lid tightly. Set this any place where the sun shines upon it: In a window or outside. I turn the jar over twice a day. When it gets strong enough (in day or so) you will know because of the color and how much tea you put in the jar. This may seem like a slow way of brewing tea, but it sure does taste different.

It may be diluted with cold water ANYTIME. I learned this from the Hawaiians when I lived there. And a great savings which has NOT been denied by any florist is to pour all leftover tea leaves in water, let set overnight, and use on plants! Don't waste anything! Heloise DearHeloise: Blessings on the apple without it we'd have no vinegar, and where would we go from there? Mrs. F.Cole DearHeloise: When you are sewing up a storm and need extra room for your sewing box, patterns, and all of that extra junk we ac cumulate: Whiz-bang! Open up one or two tv snack tables. After all most of us sew on the kitchen table.

It sure gives lots of extra room and when suppertime comes along, those tables can be moved into a corner of the kitch en and you can continue the next day in case you don't finish. Mrs. Oda Dear Heloise: When changing the paper in our kitchen drawers, I didn't have any scissors handy, so I just tore the paper off along the edge of the pulled-out drawer. The paper tore off nice and smooth and I was delighted that I had found a new way to cut it evenly without having to run to another part of the house for scissors. Mrs.

Gene Sally, acting director, said residents of Adair, Clark, Knox, Schuyler and Scotland counties are invited to the con ference at the Student Union Building of Northeast Missouri State College. Purpose of the conference one of a series is to acquaint communities with programs available involving state and federal assistance.

"This is a grass roots effort," bally said. "If a community wants to pursue a program the Department of Community Affairs is ready to help cut red tape and provide aid." For a long time, I have wanted to light the display shelves of my china cupboard (or break-front as they are sometimes called).

Tonight I got out a string of tiny Christmas tree lights and found that they just fit inside the glass door frame of my china cupboard. I attached this small string of lights with cellophane tape so as not to mark the wood. The china cabinet is beautifully lit now and the small lights make a delightful glow in our dining room. Delores Dickinson Don't ever use brads or a staple gun on any kind of electrical wires, gals. It's dangerous.

Either use tape or cup hooks or special brads made for this purpose. Lights should NEVER touch the wood but should hang free. Heloise DearHeloise: So many dresses have back zippers now, and I was always snagging my hose when stepping into a dress. Then I discovered that if I turn the dress around so that the zipper is in front when I step into it, I can avoid any snags. Clara Flasdick DearHeloise: After you have used about, half a loaf of bread (the kind with a pony tail closing), cut off the extra end of the wrapper.

Makes removing the remaining slices much easier. Mrs. Robert Dunn MEXICAN VILLA MEXICAN FOOD A SPECIALTY Also Carry-Out Service 1408 S. NATIONAL IIGMN HILL ROM (t His. I.
