He popped a pass in the opener, the first of his career, finding Mel Gray in the clear.

The end result was a 72-yard scoring play and a move that put Gray within five of breaking the league's career touchdown-pass reception record, the oldest on the league's books. With that pitch and his work on the ground, Moore not only leads the Big Eight in rushing, but also in total offense with the 243 total.
