Splady, Donald G. age 56, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 20, 1984 at the Regency Place Nursing Home, Dyer. Survivors: mother, Elsie (Joe) Taylor of Cicero, Illinois; one brother, Marshall L. (Mary) Splady of Griffith; one nephew, Reagan J.

Splady of Newport Beach, California. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22, 1984, 9:30 a.m. at the LaHayne Funeral Home, 5746 Hohman Hammond, with Rev. Kent B. Palmer officiating.

Burial, Oak Hill Cemetery, Hammond. Friends may call at the LaHayne Funeral Home Friday 2 to 5 and 7 to 09 p.m. Mr. Splady was a Laborer at the Associated Box Company of East Chicago, where he worked for 18 years; lifetime resident of the area; Navy Veteran; and a a member of the American Legion Post of Hammond. ARREGUIN, JOSE Arreguin, Jose age 88, of East Chicago, passed away Thursday, December 20, 1984 at his home.

Alonzo Bell, 24, of 1237 W. 17th Ave, told police he had just bought the food at Superior Carry-Out at 2256 Virginia when he was robbed by a "known person at about 1:45 a.m. today." Bell is in stable condition at St. Mary Medical Center today with gunshot wounds to the right elbow, both legs and the left wrist. No arrests have been made.
