K.C. Governor Anderson said Saturday more traffic safety will have to be stressed on county roads. The governor noted 37 persons lost their lives on county roads to July 1 this week compared with 27 to July in WSJ. He said "good progress" has been made in cutting down the number of fatalities on state highways and attributed the reduction to radar enforcement facilities. Omaha Co. Begins To Ship Uranium OMAHA W) A uranium company headed by two Omahans has begun commercial shipment of uranium ore from the Fremont County, Wyoming area, according to Delbert Mack, treasurer of the firm. Mack said the Cheyenne Mining and Uranium Co. is shippng about 45 tons a day to a Riverton, receiving station. Within 30 days, Mack said, the firm expects to ship up to 150 tons of ore a day.

Parker Erickson, an Omaha contractor, is president of the firm. The company has 35 claims, each covering about 20 acres, in the Fremont region.
