He is the first McAdoo boy to receive a degree from Notre Dame University and the first to graduate from McAdoo High School and enter the South Bend school.

He is a graduate of McAdoo High, June 1938, and during his high school career his name was a permanent fixture on the honor roll. His father is manager of the McAdoo Bottling Works.
