PAGE EIGHT and THE DAILY S. D. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10, 1957 Women's Page Garfield Hustlers Elect Officers Members of the Garfield Hus tiers met at the Tipton home Oct 2 and new officers were elected. They include: President, Gene Feldsein; vice president, Dean Tipton; secretary Janice Ost; treasurer, Lcland Joheck; reporter, Dennis Tipton A motion was made to allow Dean Tipton to use on his trip to Chicago. Three new members were added to the roll'call.

They are: Susan Feldsein, Leiand Jocheck and Sandra Christiansen. Dean and Janice were elected junior leaders. The next meeting will be Nov. 6 at the Ost residence. Westminster Group Elects Officers BONILLA The Westminster group elected the following officers: Seniors, president, Rita Swaney; secretary, Rose Marie Dilley; treasurer, Dean Tipton; -i Martin; rla-Ur-CJO L-H1D juniors, president, Lana vice president, Karen Hart; secretary and treasurer, Gary Tipton.

Mr. and Mrs. Iven Jacobson will be counselors for the senior group. Sunday School officers elected Superintendent, Elwood Peterson; assistant, Mrs. Walter Parkinson; secretary, Rita Swaney; treasurer, Judy Fuller.

Teachers of the different classes are: Senior High, Mrs. LuVerne Peterson; junior high, Mrs. Leora Rearick; juniors, Elwood Peterson; primary, Sharon Phillips and Rose Marie Dilley; beginners Patricia Swaney and Rita Swaney. New officers elected for the Women's Organization are: President, Mrs. Lloyd Swaney; first vice president, Mrs.

James Bales; second vice president, Mrs. Herlyn Williams; secretary, Mrs. Earl French and treasurer, Mrs. Ceylon Duller. Country Club Plans Formal Saturday Huron Country Club will, hold its fait formal dance Saturday evening, the only formal dance held at the club this season.

Harry Eisele's orchestra will ilay for dancing, starting at 10 'clock. Hors d'oeuvres will be erved preceding and during the dance. Mr. and Mrs. V.

M. Niebuhr are chairmen for the fall formal. Meets At Corkins Mrs. Minor Corkin was hostess to the Pla-Or-So Extension Club Tuesday. Following the regular business Mrs.

M. Yenney reviewed the life of Badger Clark, late poet laureate of South Dakota. A contest was conducted by Fern Lauters. Lunch was served by the hostess assisted by Mrs. Yenney.

City Briefs Mr. and Mrs, Louis Cunningham of Attoona, are leaving Friday after visiting here at the home, of Mr. and Mrs. P. W.

Dcrmody, Cunningham, a native Northvillo, is a nephew of Mrs. Dermody. The Bethel Missionary Society will hold their annual meeting Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m. Every one is invited.

The teachers reception was served by the executive committee with Mrs. Russell Fredrick pouring. WASHINGTON Following the invocation by Mrs. Palmer Swenson the pledge was given. Mrs.

Vernon Moxon, vice president, was in charge. There were 126 present. Plans for the carnival were discussed and other business transacted. The United Fund Drive was explained by Hugh Fullerton. Room count was tied between Miss Irene Chaplin's fourth grade and Mrs.

Lena Seeman's grade for the older group. Mrs. Florice Hase's morning kindergarten won room count of the younger grades. The teachers were welcomed by Eugene Lothrop and each was presented a corsage. Hostesses were sixth a mothers as follows: Mesdames D.

Harold Cranston was charge of the lunch at the close of the Mrs. Leland Bent Entertains Club FAULKTON--Mrs. Leland Bent was hostess to the Sparkle and Spice Extension Club Wednesday. Forestburg PTA Meets Monday FOKESTBURG--The intermediate room won the room count at a meeting ot the Parent Teachers Association Monday evening. Quentin Miles gave a talk on ways and means of raising money to finance a hot lunch program. The delegates to the district convention Oct. 9 an Mrs. Cecil Casscns, Mrs.
