Twenty-two and one-third per cent increase In gasoline tax collections during April, compared with receipts in the same month a year ago, is the showing set forth in the latest report of State Treasurer Stebbins on that division of Nebraska's finances.

The net amount taken in after incidental and the usual deduction for administrative expense was $758,929, as against $589,178 in April of 1929. Besides making a gain of $169,751 over the corresponding month of last year, April gas tax revenue even outdid the receipts for May, 1929. The increase over that month was $28,321, or almost 4 per cent.
