Bowersox of Cumberland officiating, assisted by the Rev. Charles W. Raley. Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Son, Berlin.

Mowry, 68; of Fair-hope died Wednesday, May 1G, in the Cumberland Memorial Hospital after an illness of several weeks. He was a well-known farmer. He was born in Bedford County, May 1, 1883, a son of the late Lewis W. and Margaret (Lafferty) Mowry. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.

Nellie Menges Mowery; a daughter, Mrs. Aloysius Will of Fair-hope, and a son, Charles R. Mowry, with the U. S. Army overseas.

One son died in infancy. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. J. C. Turner of Cumberland, Mrs.

Walter Bradigan of Corriganville, Mrs. F. A. Holler of Perryopolis, Mrs. Clyde Cook of Ellerslie, Mrs.

ERNEST NIGHTINGALE Mrs. Goldie Fullerton Nightingale, 44, wife of Ernest Nightingale, Garrett, died Tuesday, May 22, in the Somerset Hospital after an illness of eight months. Last September 5 she suffered a stroke which left her speechless and almost completely paralyzed. She was given every possible medical attention, for three months in the Somerset Community Hospital and later in St.

Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh, and finally with private nursing at home in Garrett. She suffered another stroke about two weeks ago, from the effects of which she died after being removed to the Somerset Hospital.
