They will return here this week accompanied by their son. En route to Jefferson City they will stop in Chicago where they will attend the World's Fair. Mrs. Hugo Monnig Entertains Houseguests Mrs. Hugo Monnig has as house- guests this week-end at her home, 408 Woodlawn, Mrs.

S. R. Morrow and children, and Mr. and Mrs. W.

T. Mc-row of Carthage. Mrs. Earl Grant, who is located in St. Louis, is also spending the week-end here with her mother and her children.

Today Mrs. Monnig and her guests will leave for Chicago where they will spend a ten-day vacation trip. They will be accompanied by Miss Kathryn Grant and Earl Grant, Jr. Mrs. Grant will return to St.

Oliver Harrison has returned to her home here, after a two months visit with Mr. and Mrs. John N. Sorrels at their summer home in York. Croton-on-Hudson, New Miss Margaret Hull is spending the week-end in Weston, Mo.

Dr. and Mrs. Stanley P. Howard and sons, David and Stanley, will return today to their home on Elmarine Avenue from Whitehill, Minn. Enroute home they stopped in Chicago to attend the Century of Progress Exposition.

Mrs. Howard and two boys have been at White- tiill for the past six weeks and Dr. Howard joined them there ten days ago. Judge and Mrs. Merrill E.

Young People Will Have Joint Picnic The young ladies and young mei of the Immaculate Conception parish will enjoy a joint picnic todaj at the Boy Scout camp. The young people will leave here shortly before noon and return ear ly in the evening.

Mrs. E. j. Manning left this past week for Louiseville, Kentucky, to get her mother, Mrs. Harriet Wood who has been visiting there for several weeks.
