Mrs. Firman was retired from Pullman Standard after many years of service. She was currently employed at Micrographics and a former manager of the Highland Senior Nutrition Site and active as a lioness in Hammond. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. The family has requested no flowers.

Cleo B. Gudenschwager Cleo B. Gudenschwager ,92, of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away 11, 1995, at St. Anthony Medical Center. Suvivors; one daughter, Marilynn (Ralph) Einspahr of Crown Point; one son, Everett (Marilyn) Gudenschwager of Crown Point; eight Werhne Timothy Einspahr, Allen and Michael Gudenschwager, all of Crown Point, Karin Gregory and Jennifer Fields of Minenapohs, MN, Wendy Rogers of Indianapolis, Linnea Hansen of Milwaukee, WL-seven great grandchildren; many nieces and nepehws; preceded in death by husband Albert and daughter, Joan Yungmark.

Mrs.Gudenschwager was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Ladies Aide and the Wednesday Bible Class. She was former member for over twenty years of the Crown Point Shell Collectors' Club and was formerly employed at Letz's Manufacturing Co. in Crown Point.

For her enjoyment Cleo loved to do oil paintings and water colors. Memorials may be given to the TrinityEvangelical Luthern Church. Anna M. Krawczyk (nee Tokarz) Anna M. Krawczyk (nee Tokarz), 91 of Hammond, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 10, 1995.

She is survived by two sons, Leonard (Dolores) Krawczyk of Sylvania, Ohio and Donald Krawczyk of Schererville, Indiana; seven daughters, Norberta (Andrew) Lewis of Hammond, Geraldine Shaw of Crown Point, Indiana, Lauretta Bradt of Littleton, Colorado, Evelyn Krawczyk of Chicago, Illinois, Dede Bennett of San Diego, California, Trade (Michael) Madalon of Schererville, Doris (Malcolm) Proper of Matthews, North Carolina; one brother, Al Tokarz of Tonapah, Arizona; 46 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Carrol 42, who died Aug. 31 following surgery for an aneurysm, did more than just coach 13- to 15-year-old girls and boys for the Youth of America Bowling Association for five years, i He also did more than serve on trophy, banquet and tour-Jnament committees. As a safety supervisor for Steel Transport, he made sure truck drivers could pass drug tests, and served as an intermediary with the steel company. A back injury sidelined that dream, but a new vocation awaited her. Mrs.

McCann married and eventually took on a job that required her full time attention being a mom to a family of seven, including one set of twins. "Mom devoted her life to all of us, and she was much more than just a mother. She was our best friend, and a friend to all of our friends," Don McCann said. Mrs. McCann, who died Sept.

3 at St. Mary Medical Center, was a lifelong area resident. She had many hobbies, but the one she devoted the most time to was quilting. Eduardo attended East Chicago Roosevelt High School and he loved to restore old cars. CROWN POINT -When it came to grandfathers, Mike Spear's grandchildren ranked him No. 1. According to 12-year-old Danielle Spear, "My grandpa was the best. He was always there Sot us and always liked to spend as much time as he could with my brothers and me." The Wheeler Junior High student remembered that her grandfather called her "Princess" and gave her, when she was a toddler, with a teddy bear that Danielle says she'll always cherish.

"We could talk to him about anything, 'cause he'd always listenthat's what we'll miss most," said Danielle. "rT Mr. Spear, 67, who died Satur-, day following a long illness, was a former resident of East Chicago and Hammond and currently resided in Crown Point. He was a decorated veteran of the Korean Conflict and a POW. Although he was seriously wounded and imprisoned during his stint with the Army, Mr.

Spear decided to re-enlist in the' military. He. switched branches and joined the U.S. Navy, serving as part of the nautical Sea Bees team until his retirement. Mr.
