Arrangements are being made to give a benefit concert to tine Knights of Pythiaa band. A number of our citizens have interested themselves in the matter and ask the aid of every citizen of Huron. The band is one of the best in the country and deserves the hearty encouragement of all of our people. The association, will at once ar- range to induce the state legislature at its approaching session, to pass a bill providing for equal sugrags at municipal elections. Following the reading and appro- val of the minutes of the last meeting, a petition for a sidewalk on the west side of Wisconsin street, between Third and streets, was grant- ed.
