Spencer's bird-like notes were very pleasing. Miss Dickinson's playing was cor- rect, easy and graceful, and Mrs. Bailey's performance in her most brilliant style. Altogether it was a delightful afternoon and full of pleasure to all the participants. Annual Meeting.

The annual supper of the Congre- gationalists will be given at their church to-morrow evening (Jan 8) at 5:30. The families of the church and congregation are cordially invited to ce present. The supper will be fol- lowed by a roll call. Members are requested to answer to their names with a Scripture test. Those not able to be present may send their texts and words of greeting.

Reports will be given of the various activities of of the church, after which officers will be chosen for the coming year. It is hoped that the whole Congre- gational family in Huron may partic- ipate in this their "feast of Taberna- cles."
