Mrs. Elva Myers of McCook. will speak at Assembly of Church tonight MRS. CHESTER WAGNER Mrs. Edith Wagner, 75, wife of Chester Wagner, near Richmond, died today at 10 a.

m. at the Garnett Hospital. She had been in failing health a year. Last night she became ill, and was taken to the hospital. The Wagner family is widely known for their interest in farming and community projects in Franklin County.

Edtth Beaty was born May 22, 1883 in Knobnoster, daughter of David S. and Lydia Beatyt She was married to Mr. Wagner March 14, 1910, and lad lived at Richmond since then. Survivors are the husband, three children, Raymond B. Wagner, Richmond; Mrs.

Glenn Chappell, Green City, and Mrs. Arnold Bryan, Shawnee; five grandchildren and two sisters. Mrs. Laura Roadruck and Miss Florence Beaty, Knobnoster, Mo. Mrs, Wagner was a member of R.

N. A. and of the Richmond Community Church, where the funeral is to be Saturday at 2:30 p. m. Friends may call at the Lamb Funeral Home until noon Saturday.

Interment is to be in Richmond Cemetery. LLOYD W. MYERS Lloyd W. 'Myrs, 53, insurance representative and a former high school teacher, died yesterday at 11 a. m.

at the home in Manhattan. He formerly taught in high schools at Pomona, Quenemo, Troy and Cimarron. He was born Oct. 22, 1904, near Burlington, son of Fred and Maggie Myers. He was married to Velma Latimer in August, 1931 at Ottawa.

The widow, a son, Ronald E. Myers of the home, the mother, Mrs. Fred Myers, Ottawa; and three sisters, Mrs. W. J.

Gibson, Topeka; Mrs. Dwight Haworth, Ottawa and Mrs. J. G. Toohy, Long Island, N.

survive. Mr. Myers was a member of the Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge at Pratt. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p. the McVey-Qengel Mortuary.

Rev. Charles P. Knight is to officiate, and interment will be in Key West Cemetery, Coffey County. husband, two daughters, a sister and two brothers, survive. Funeral and burial services will be held Saturday from the Federated Church at Burlingame.

He was born line 16, 1874 at Norborne, on of William and Sadie Clemens, nd is the last member of the fam- six children. He was niar- ied to Minnie Stuart, Dec. 18, 1924. at Ottawa: The widow, a daughter Mrs. Parley Hauser, Sacramento, two grandchildren and four great- grandchildren Mr.

Clemens was a of Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 1 at 11:30 a.m. from the, jamb Funeral Home. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery. MRS.

IVA M. CARM1CHAEL Mrs. Merle Willhite, 416 East 14th, has received word of the death of her mother, Mrs. Iva M. 56, wife of Vernie F.

Arthur Wharton, 76, 513 Ash, and Gail V. Louk, 82, 12 S. Main, when they collided 'esterday. Wharton was turning right off 'th when he collided with Louk, was turning feft off 7th. No arrest was made.

Francis Wilson, and Mrs. Wilson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Norton, "Williamsburg to Wichita yesterday. They attended the funeral and burial services of Gomer Edmond of Andover.

Mr. Edmond was an employe of Warner industries here many years and was also a former resident of Pomona. He woud have been 65 years old today. His death in a Wichita hospital June 8 re- suited from a heart attack and pneumonia. The widow and eight children survive.

CARL ALVA HETRICK Funeral services for Carl Alva Hetrick, 60, Topeka, formerly of Ottawa, who was found dead Tuesday afternoon, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary, Topeka. Mr. Hetrick was found hanging in a shed at the rear of his home by his wife. He had been in failing health several months, and despondent, members of the family told police.

Born at Michigan Valley he moved with parents to Queue- mo when he was three years old. He moved to Ottawa in 1928, and to Topeka in 1952. He was a carpenter, and retired in 1953. Survivors are the widow, two sons Lawrence A. and Fred E.

Hetrick, Topeka, a sister and a brother. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Morrow, Overbrook, were called to Topeka yesterday by his death.
