The demand for small currency is enormous, just now, a Stor reporter was Informed at the Treasury Department yesterday, and the indications are that the money is being put Into actual business or spent for the material improvement of the country. This Is shown by the character of the money in demand, by the gradual extension of commercial and manufacturing enterprises, by tho increased value of real estate in nearly every city in the country, and by the higher valuation of contiguous farm land. Members ot Congress report increasing business activity in their sections. They say crops are liood, the farmers are lu good spirits, and the business men preparing for and actually experiencing a considerable increase in business activity.
