And further any person or persons who shall violate this order on being tried therefor shall be fined not more than fifty Dollars, and in default of payment may be sentenced to hard labor. SECOND. That each physician, or doctor who is practicing medicine within the police jurisdiction of the town of Abbeville is hereby required to make daily reports to the Mayor of said town of each and every case of influenza that he is Called to see, or that comes within, his know ledge, within the police jurisdiction of the town of Abbeville.

And upon any physician failing to make such report he shall be arrested by the marshall and being found guilty of violating this order, shall be fined in the sum of not more than Fifty Dollars, and may in default of payment of said fine be sentenced to hard labor for the said town THIRD. It is hereby made the duty of the marshall of the town of Abbeville on being notified that any place is infected with the disease of influenza, to immediately place a flag of warning at the entrance to such place, so as to give the public warning that the place is, or is supposed to be infected with influenza. And is hereby made a violation of this proclamation for any person, or persons to remove or interfere with the notice that is placed under this order. S. 0.
