Fred H. Goetzes Are Honored on 35 th Anniversary Mr and Mrs. Fred Goetze of 40 Belvldere Avenue were entertained recently at a family dinner on their 35th wedding anniversary, which they observed1 Wednesday. The affair was at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs.

Donald- M. Collins of 252 Elm Street, who alsb (celebrated their ninth anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Goetze Were married In a home ceremony here by the late Rev.

Werner Genzmer, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church. They have three other children, Mrs. Russell E. Meyers, Mrs. Ralph K.

Best and Joseph L. Goetze, and four grandchildren, all of Pittsfield. Another son, William H. Goetze, died five years ago. Mr.

Goetze, a plater at the GE, has worked there 39 years and Is a member of the Quarteif Century Club. Mrs. Goetze, the former Corda Mendel, is the daughter of Mrs. A. Mendel of 94 Bay State Road.

She is a member of the Helping Hand Society of the First Baptist Church and i the Colllna Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. Committee oi 1.00 For Junior Highs To Meet Monday A meeting of the house-to-house educational committee of the Committee of 100 for Junior, Highs will be held Monday evening at 7.30 at the Berkshire Museum. Under the chairmanship of Bartlett Hendricks, the committee will conduct a house-to-house campaign with educational material on the junior high schools. The committee will divide the city into districts and will get maps and Information for its canvass.

A graduate of Norfolk (Neb.) High School, he attended Scottsbluff (Neb.) Junior College and received bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering In 1948 from the University of Wyoming. He served in the Army for three years, most of the time in the European and Middle Eastern theatres.

Cheshire Legion Auxiliary Officers Installed, CHESHIRE Mrs. James Girard was installed as president Of the William M. Ogden Post, American Legion auxiliary in an induction ceremony Wednesday evening. They are Edwin Potter, son of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Potter ot 10 Marshall Avenue, Pittsfield, and David Powell, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Walter E. Powell of 44 Concord Parkway, Pittsfield. Mr. Potter, a studenet in the engineering school, is a 1946 Pittsfield High School graduate, He served in the Army for two years most of the time in Japan, where he was a member of the 24th Division Band and on the newspaper, Mr. Powell graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1949, and is a student in the school of agriculture.

Mrs. Shaw To Head St. Stephen Auction Mrs. Henry E. Shaw has been named chairman of an auction sale of antique furniture, glassware and silver, to be sponsored by St.
