FERGUS FAILS (Minn.) DAILY JQUtNAl TUESDAY, MAY PERSONAL and SOCIAL DIAL 6-2601 THe WCTU met Friday afternoon with Mrs. Maurice Reardon, Route 5, with Mrs. Elvie Schmidt assisting hostess. Devotional meditations were given by Mrs. Melvin Martin, followed by prayer led by Mrs.

Eugene Eddy. Two sacred solos were accompanied by Mrs. Edwin Olson. Readings were given by Mrs. Clarence Lien and Mrs.

Amanda Oehler. Reference was made to Senate Resolution No. 325 by Mrs. Oehler. Mrs.

Rubyn Peterson presented the lesson Alcohol Education and the closing prayer was led by Mrs. John'R. Miller. Schedules of the District meeting to be held in Fergus Falls, Zion Lutheran Church May 16 was presented by dis trict president, Mrs. Norman Solum.

There he boarded a special coach along with thirty other state, county and municipal employee delegates Iroffi Minnesota to'at- tend the International Convention at Milwaukee, Wis. A troop of WBA ladies called on Mrs; William'Neuman Monday afternoon to Kelp observe her birthday by bringing a decorated cake and coffee with her. Mrs.

Neuman received many cards and her gifts included the WBA red rose. Mrs. Neuman.is a faithful, longtime pioneer member of the WBA becoming a benefit member nearly fifty years ago. Ronna Johnstone was feted at a pre-nuptial shower last evening at the John Michealson home. Gifts from the 35 guests were brought to Miss Johnstone in a little wagon pulled by Janie Sabbe.

Corsages were presented to the bride-to-be, her mother Mrs. Edith Johnstone and her grandmother Mrs. John Michealson by the hostesses. Erickson, the choir sang concerts in North Dakota, Montana, California, Oregon and Washington and Minnesota. The students, many from the East coast, had a chance to visit Disneyland and the Fair-in Seattle. In California the choir made a recording of California concert" under Loren Whitney, who records sacred numbers. May 4 will coincide with the nationwide observance of this interdenominational worship sponsored by the United Church Women. In Fergus Falls May Fellowship Day will be held at the Evangelical United Brethren Church'at 9:30 a.m., Friday. The Rev. Vern Schendel of Norcross will speak on the theme "One Family Under God: Who Is My Family?" In a divided world on the brink of either tragedy or a great new era of enlightened thought and action, this basic question must be answered. God has an answer and modern science comes to the same answer.
