Arrangements are pending at the Reiser-Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo. Larry Thompson ALEDO, I1L Larry Thompson, 30, formerly of Aledo, died Friday in an auto accident in Kanab, Utah.

Arrangements are pending at Jinks Funeral Home, Aledo. r-Grand Opening-, Monday, November 12 Thru Sat, Nov. 17 Harold Pool MAQUOKETA, Iowa Services for Harold C. Pool 74, of Maquoketa, will be 3 p.m. Monday at Carson Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Bridgeport Cemetery. Mr. Pool died Friday at Jackson County Public Hospital, Maquoketa. He was a retired farmer and businessman. Mr.

Pool married Ethelyn McDonald in 1943 in Maquoketa. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Hope Howell, Bull Shoals, and Corinne Heister, Rock Island; a son, Clayton, Maple Park, I1L; six grandchildren; a greatgrandchild; a sister, Azala Henricks, Worthington, and a brother, Donald, Clinton, Wash. William Scales GENESEO, 111 Services for William A. Scales, 52, of Geneseo, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Grace Methodist Church, Geneseo.

Burial will be in North Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Wright Funeral Home, where Masonic services will be conducted at 7 p.m. A family memorial fund has been established. Mr.

Scales died Friday at Illini Hospital He retired in 1984 as an electrician for International Harvester Farmall Works, Rock Island. Mr. Scales married Millie Sutler in 1956 in Sharpsburg, Md. He was an. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Scales was a member of the church; Masonic Stewart Lodge 92, Geneseo; past Worthy Patron of the Order of Eastern Star; and the Geneseo Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Lisa) Swani-gan, Akron, Ohio; sons, Ronald, Augusta, Steve, Geneseo; and Michael, Aurora, seven grandchildren; and a brother, Stanley, New Carlisle, Ind. Rev.

Alfred Burlingame MAQUOKETA, Iowa The Rev. Alfred W. Burlingame, 63, of Maquoketa, died Saturday in Des Moines. He served as pastor of SI Mark's Episcopal Church, Maquoketa. Arrangements are pending at the HaylockO'Hara 4 Kedley Funeral Home, Maquoketa.

Gilbert Washburn MUSCATINE, Iowa Gilbert Lee Washburn, 74, of Muscatine, died Saturday at Muscatine General Hospital. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the George M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park.

Visitation is Monday, 2 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday, 9 a.m. to service time. He retired in 1975 from the Hut-tig Manufacturing Muscatine, where he had been employed 45 years. Mr. Washburn married Mary Bodman in 1931 in Muscatine.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Kenneth, at home; sisters, Mrs. George (Lura) Millett; Mrs. Clarence (Orva) Whisler; Mrs. Webster (Zona) Altenbernd; and Mrs. Francis (Joan) Rienier, all of Muscatine; and a brother, Paui Hamilton, I1L Florence Shanley MORRISON, I1L Services for Florence B.

Shanley, 86, of Morrison will be 2 p.m. Monday at St, Anne's Episcopal Church, Morrison. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery. The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Shanley died Friday at the Morrison Community Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility. Florence Baker married Thomas Andrew Shanley in 1919 in Seattle. He died in 1965. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs.

Robert (Barbara) Potter, Morrison; a son, Brian, Lodi, four grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; and a brother, Irving, Hamburg Cove, Conn. Ernest Ryser ERIE, 111. Ernest F. Ryser, 79, of Erie died Saturday at Illini Hospital. Services will be 10 a.m.

Monday at Wendt Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens. Visitation Is 3 to and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

Feme Spangler MORRISON, I1L Feme Spangler, 66, of Morrison, died Saturday at Swedish American Hospital, Rock-ford. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Renkes-Reynolds Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairhaven Cemetery, Chadwick. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m.

Monday. A memorial fund has been established. She and her husband had farmed near Morrison until 1961. Feme Marie Eickert married Howard Spangler in 1939 in Iowa. She was a member of the Fair-haven United Methodist Church.
