I September Opens with Fa Docket fc A -y- CALL OF THE CALAttDAR List of Cases Set for Trial with Date of Same--Continuances Granted in Several Matters Some Pleas of Guihy May Be Entered. The district court convened for September term yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. The docket was read and the following action taken: Criminal proceedings. State vs.

R. E. Green, continued for the term on consent of counsel. State vs. Dr.

C. K. Ah Fong, dls- missed on motion of county attorney. In the cases of the state vs. Chong Sing, Sing and Wing Chung, thf argument upon a motion to dismiss the appeal was set for 10 a.

m. September 3. These are known as the Chinese wash bouse cases. The case of the state L. Ewing, charged with unlawfully im- personating another and by so doing obtaining $100 on a draft, and that of the state vs.

W. H. Land, charged wl having forged another's name to a bank draft and securing $1083, were added to the criminal calendar. Both defendants were arraigned. Silas W.

Moody was appointed attorney for Ewing, who will plead this morning at 10 o'clock. Charles M. Kahn was appointed counsel for Larid, who will plead this morn- Ing at 10 o'clock. The following disposition of cases was made: Jellison Bros. Stone Constructiqn company vs.

J. B. Funsten (bishop), et al, set for 10 a. m. September 8.

I Hugh B. McBlroy, administrator, vs. Jonas W. Brown, respondent, continued, by agreement of counsel. Wesley Compton vs.

Gold Eagle Mining Milling company, et al, argument on the pending demurrer set for 10 a. m. September H. B. Boise City; W.

B. Borah was entered as counsel for the defendant and the case was set for trial September 10 at 10 a. m. Seraphlen De Cloedt vs. Marshall W.

Mellinger; demurrer was withdrawn and the defendant was" given until September 8 to answer. State of Idaho vs. Boise City National i bank, Johnson Johnson were entered as counsel for the defendant. State of Idaho vs. First National Bank of Idaho, Johnson Johnson was entered as counsel for the defendant.

Joseph C. Mclntyre vs. Mary E. Johnston; argument on pending demurrer was set for September 8 at 10 o'clock. S.

H. Hays vs. Horace Oaks; demurrer withdrawn and the defendant was until the 8th to answer. Walter Whitaker vs. M.

Addle the demurrer was withdrawn and defendant was given until the 8th to answer. Annie Sencerbox vs. FlrVt National Bank of Idaho; and defendant given until the lOti to answer. John Krall vs. Edwin H.

Peasley; demurrer withdrawn and defendant given until the 10th to answer. NEW CASES. The following cases were added to the calendar. Alva I. Llndsey vs.

Clyde W. Llnd- eey; an action for divorce, and -R. J. Linden vs. J.

Brumback, civil action. TRIAL, CALENDAR. In the trial calendar the following proceedings were had- The Boise City Irrigation Land company vs. Luther Snyder et al; Wood Wilson were entered as counsel for the plaintiff in place of W. E.

Borah. Hannah Landick vs. John G. Landlckj hearing was set for Septembe'r 9 at 10 a. m.

Niday and D. D. Marrs, S. H. Hays was entered as counsel for defendants.
