Kohlhammer, 72, of 904 23rd Rock Island, a prominent Rock Island lawyer, died Monday at Franciscan Hospital. Services will be 1:30 p.m.

Fred Sigler, 3520 N. Thornwood who owns the spa with Ruth Checck, 925 W. 46th both of Davenport, said he had no damage estimate by Monday night, but the building was insured against fire. In the meantime, lie said membership money probably will not be refunded because members pay on a month-to-month basis. He said he did not know how many members the spa had.

Evidence of arson and vandalism were found on the scene Sunday. Burn patterns indicated a Hammable substance had been poured on the carpet in at least five places, Division Fire Chief Ernest Hill said. Samples of the carpet were sent to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation laboratories to determine what type of "accelerant" was used, he said. Hill said barbells and other weights had been thrown through the windows of the exercise salon. It was not known whether anything was taken, he said.

Ottus Montgomery MUSCATINE, Iowa -Ottus C. Montgomery, 85, of Muscatine died Monday at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Columbus Junction. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fairbanks-Lamb Chapel, Muscatine. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. today and prior to service time Wednesday. Ottus Montgomery married Mantie Hayes in 1920 in Muscatine. She died in 1976. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the VFW and American Legion.

Survivors include nieces and nephews. Carol Bright MUSCATINE, Iowa -Memorial services for Carol Jane Bright, 56, of Muscatine will be 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church. Private burial will be in Muscatine County Memorial Park. There is no visitation.

Leonard Kohret COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa Leonard "Wink" Rohret, 82, of Columbus Junction died Monday at Sunrise Terrace Nursing Home, Wlnfield. Arrangements are pending at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction. Mr. Rohret was an engineer. He married Beulah Anderson In 1942 in Elgin, III lie was a member of SL Joseph Catholic Church, Columbus Junction.

Mr. Waite died Sunday at St. Luke's Hospital after an extended illness. He was formerly employed at International Harvester Farmall, retiring in 1974. He married Ruby Owens in 1931 in Albia, Iowa.
