12th Davenport, died Monday at St. Luke's Hospital. Arrangements are pending at Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home, Davenport. Peter O'Reilly Services for Peter J. O'Reilly, 70, of Davenport, will be 10 a.m.

Wednesday at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Davenport. The body will be cremated. Inurnment will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. today at McGinnis Funeral Home, Bettendorf, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Mr. O'Reilly died Sunday at his home. He was a retired maintenance man, formerly employed by the Cleveland Mr.

0'Reilly Plain Dealer newspaper, Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. O'Reilly married Margaret Strong in 1942 in London, England. Survivors include his wife: a daughter, Mrs. John (Barbara) Bacon, Muscatine, Iowa; a sister, Rose McGinnis, London; brothers; Patrick and Frank Reilly, both of London; John Reilly, of Australia, and Michael and Benjamin Reilly, of Ireland; and an aunt, Mrs.

Eileen McCarthy, with whom he had resided. James Genung Services for James D. Genung, 27, of 4940 N. Clark Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Fredericks Funeral Home, Davenport.

Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Genung died Sunday when the semi-trailer truck he was driving overturned near Holbrook, Ariz.

He was employed by Mr. Genung Trucking Grand Mound. Mr. Genung married Judith Weber Dillie in 1979 in Davenport. He was a Marine Corps veteran.

Survivors include his. wife; a daughter, Melissa, at home; sons, Christopher, at home, and Travis, Moline; his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Jean Genung, Davenport; a sister, Jo Genung, Davenport; brothers, Dan Tusing, Alpha, Robert Genung, Davenport; and Gary Genung, Modesto, and his maternal grandfather, Chester M. James Sacco James Sacco, 79, of 3229 14th Rock Island. died Monday at Moline Lutheran Hospital. Services will be 9:30 a.m.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church or the American Heart Association. Mr. Sacco was a plasterer for several local construction companies. He was born in Italy, and came to the United States in 1904.

He married Armelia M. Guzzi in 1920 in Centerville, Iowa. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Mrs. Colleen Wilson and Mrs. Carmella Faoro, both of Rock Island; sons, John, East Moline, and Louis, Rock Island; 12 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; and a brother, Jasper, Rock Island.

Arrangements are pending at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline. Harry Ziffrin Services for Harry B. Ziffrin, 84, of 2513 32nd Ave. Court, Moline, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fredericks Funeral Home, Davenport.

Burial will be in Tri-City Jewish Cemetery. Mr. Ziffrin died Sunday after apparently suffering a heart attack while vacationing in Miami Beach, Fla. He was the founder and retired president of H.B. Ziffrin Sales Moline.

Mr. Ziffrin married Betty Shifren in 1922 in Missouri. She died in 1969. Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Ziffren, Bradford, N.H.; sons, Norman, Rock Island, and James, Moline; four grandchildren; one-great-grandchild; sisters, Mrs. Mary Rothenberg, Chicago; Mrs.

Rose Levi, Indianapolis; and Mrs. Belle Isaacson, Lafayette, and brothers, Sam, Indianapolis; and Herman, Los Angeles. Martin Zamis Services for Martin L. Zamis, 71, Sun City, formerly of Moline, will be 9 a.m. Thursday at DeRoo Funeral Home, and 9:30 a.m.

at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Moline. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline, where Moline American Legion Post No. 246 will conduct military rites.

Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Mr. Zamis died Saturday in Sun City. He was a buyer for John Deere Plow Planter for 37 years, retiring in 1972.

Mr. Zamis married Ona Creech in 1955 in Davenport. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific theater. Mr. Zamis had lived in Sun City for eight years.

He was a member of Moline American Legion and the Moline Elks. Survivors include his wife, and sisters, Mrs. Bernice Zelnio, Phoenix, and Mrs. Benjamin (Ann) Vroman, Moline. East Moline Patricia Brown Services for Patricia Massa Brown, 28, of 358 51st East Moline, will be 11 a.m.

Mrs. Brown died Sunday at University Hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa, after an extended illness. She was a teaching assistant at the Skip-A-Long Daycare Center, East Moline. Survivors include a son, Shawn East Moline; her parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Mr. Van Camp was former secretary of the Loyal Order of Moose, Davenport, for 25 years; a member of 500 Club of the Moose; a Fellowship Degree and Pilgrim Degree of the Moose; and honorary past state president of the Iowa State Moose Association. He was a past president of Sacred Heart Cathedral Credit Union, Davenport; 20-year member of Davenport Civil Service Commission; former treasurer of Youth Honor Day; former member of the Boston Red Mr. Van Camp Sox, Louisville and Cleveland Indians, Des Moines Demons and Davenport Blue Sox; and was a member of the Old Time Ball Players Association of Wisconsin. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus No.

Thornburg died Jan. 17 in Danbury. He was president of Pawling Rubber Co. until 1953 and served as chairman until 1976. Mr.

Thornburg was director of the company at the time of his death. Mr. Thornburg organized and was president of the Investigation and Finance Chicago. He also served as financial advisor to the governor of Shansi Province in West China. He also was publisher of Guideposts magazine.

Mr. Thornburg married Pherbia Thomas in 1936 in Quaker Hill, Pawling. She died Nov. 24, 1980. He was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University.

Mr. Thornburg served on the Metropolitan Board of the YMCA of Greater New York from 1953 until 1972. He was one of the founders of the Holiday Hills branch of the and served as chairman of the board of Holiday Hills from 1955 until 1972. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Cole (Pherbia) Cooper, Fairbanks, one grandson; and a nephew, Lowell Thomas Anchorage, Alaska.
