Quits Country To Escape Prison WASHINGTON (A Racketeer Joe Adonis agreed today to deport himself by Jan. 1. In return for that move he will be allowed to avoid serving a prison term for perjury. Adonis was sentenced in April, 1834, to serve eight months to two years in prison for swearing falsely before the old Senate Crime Investigating Committee.
