Oet. 22, 1 $64, Lake Charles American tost OBITUARIES DULVA BENOIT WELSH (Spl.) -Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday for Dulva Benoit, 81 of Welsh, who died at his home at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Riles will be held from Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery under direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Mr. Benoit was a native of Welsh and a retired employe of the Louisiana Highway Department. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clemence Miller Benoit; three daughters, Mrs. Murphy Maier of Jennings, Mrs.

W. J. Louviere of Welsh and Mrs. Paul M. Berry of six sons, Dennis Jaubert and Lastie W.

Benoit, all of Welsh, Leo Benoit of Evangeline, Edmond Benoit and Mervin Benoit, both of Jennings; two sisters, Mrs. W. E. Byler and Mrs. Joe David, both of Welsh; one brother, Aristille Benoit of Welsh; 34 grandchildren; and 29 great- grandchildren.

CASTILLE INFANT Graveside rites for James Evans Castille, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. John Castille of 222!) Linda Drive, West Lake, will be at 10 a.m. P'riday in St. Martinville.

The child died at 5 a.m. today in a local hospital. He is survived by his parents; two brothers, William Wayne and John Castille; one sister, Sheila Marie Castille, all of West Lake; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Evans Castille of St.

Martinville; a grandmother, Mrs. Gyles Bayard of vv Iberia, and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W.

LeBlanc of Port Barre. DEE M. COOPER PITKIN serv- ices for Dee M. Cooper, 76, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Oakdale.

The Rev. Virgil Reeves and Mrs. A. G. McGee will co-officiate.

Burial will be in the Newlin Cemetery in Singer. Mr. Cooper died at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday at his residence. He was a retired schoolteacher.

Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Lee of Shreveport and Mrs. Opal Lee of Michigan City, and three grandchildren. C. P.

DAIGLE CHURCH POINT (Spl.) Funeral services for Christopher P. Daigle, 17, will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church here. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Daigle Funeral Home in charge. He died at 6:50 a.m.

Wednes- jday of injuries received in a traffic accident Tuesday. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Daigle of Church Point. He resided with a brother in Lake Charles and jwas a student at Landry High School.

i SAMMY FRANKLIN I DEQUINCY (Spl.) Funeral i services were to be at 2 p.m. I today for Mrs. Minnie Hessie Franklin, 66, who died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday at her home here. Rites will be held from Hargrove Baptist Church with the Revs.

Jack Bell and H. L. Bennett, officiating. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery under direction of Snider Funeral Home. Mrs.

Franklin was a resident of DeQuincy for 54 years. She is survived by her husband, Sammy Franklin; two sons, W. D. Hoosier of Chicago, 111., and Eddie Ray Hoosier of OeQuincy; two daughtefs, MfS. Arthur Irwin and Mr, West, both of DeQuifieyj two brothers, E.

H. and E. Bennett, both of DeQuincy; one tef, Mr. George Williams of Lafayette; three step-daughters, Mrs. Robert Foster of Port Neches, Mrs.

Steve Meshell of Freeport, Tex. and Mrs. A. M. Coleman of Freeport, and 19 grandchildren.

Glaser, 69, brother of Mrs. F. S. Adams of West Lake, died here early Wednesday aft-, er a long illness. Funeral services will be held Friday from St.

Mary Catholic Church here. Time of services has not been announced. Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Henry Crerrters and Mrs. L.

V. Hall, and three brothers, Frank, Ernest and August Glaser, all of Pone a Cily. MRS. M. B.

HEBERT CALCASIEU (Spl.) Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Boone Hebert, 81, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the New Hope Baptist Church. The Rev. Guy Allen will officiate.

Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Oakdale. Mrs. Hcbcrt died at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday at her residence. Survivors are eight a h- lers, Mrs.

Ama Bond, Mrs. Ida Lawson, Mrs. Emma Stalsby, Mrs. Cassie Chamberlain and Mrs. Mae Chamberlain, all of Oakdale, Mrs.

Ada Stokes and Mrs. Gracie Ray, both of Calcasieu, and Mrs. Ethel Poag of Sunnyvale, one brother, Paul Boone of Oakdale; two sisters, Mrs. Mell Messer of Kountze, and Mrs. Oscar Deville of Lake Charles; 62 grandchildren, and 106 great- grandchildren.

Mrs. McCurley died at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday in a Lake Charles hospital, 0. W. STEPHENS LEESVILLE (SI.) Funeral services for Oscar William Stephens, 70, who died at 4:30 p.rru Wednesday, will be at 11 a.m.

Friday in Simpson Baptist Church. The Revs. Aubrey Boswell and A. H. Prewitt will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Mr. Stephens is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Jenkins Stephens; one daughter, Mrs.

Louise Stephens of Leesville; three sons, Gene L. Stephens of Leesville, Claude Stephens of Houston, and Willard Stephens of El Paso, three sisters, Mrs. Emmett Wright of Vidor, Mrs. Henry Turner of Leesville and Mrs. Ellen Gill of Pineville; and nine grandchildren.
