10, oa the Short-line railroad, yesterday morning at a quarter to 8 o'clock. caused the regular Umclnnatt passenger train, due bare at 12:45 o'clock, to be de layed eleven hours. It appears that the freight train left here at 11:40 Saturday night, and when at a point between Ziou's station and Verona, some fifty or sixty miles from the city, four ears were thrown from tbe track, and one of them being very badly damaged. The track was torn up for a short distance, but no other cars were wrecked. Fortunately no one was in that portion of tbe train at the tii no, and no injuries to individuals are re corded.

Tbe wrecking train left the city yesterday morning at 9 o'clock for the scens'of tbe ac cident, aud returned at a late hour last night, having performed its mission. The track was cleared, and tbe entirs wreck cleared np bv 0 o'clock yexterday afternoon. The num ber of the engine was 904, toe engineer was William tionford, and Conductor LaUua had chares of tbe train.
