Kingsley Ridgway, a minister of the Wesleyan Church in Australia, will speak today at 7:30 p.m. at Sylmar Wesleyan Church, 15089 Roxford Sylmar. Rev. Ridgway served pastorates in Canada from 1929 to 1937. At the outbreak of World War II he volunteered for service and served as welfare officer of the-YMCA with British troops in Egypt.

From 1941 to 1945 he served as chaplain with the Royal Australian Air Force. On discharge at the close of the war he did pioneer work in Australia for the Wesleyan Church, founding churches in Car- Iton and Cohuna, Victoria. He also served as president of the Wesleyan i le College in Melbourne for five years. In 1961 he requested a leave of absence from the college to do pioneer work in New Guinea where he spent four years in missionary work among tribes not long removed from cannibalism. Upon returning to Australia he accept- ed the pastorate of College Wesleyan Church of Melbourne.

After several months of deputation travel for the General Department of World Missions of Wesleyan Church, Rev. Ridgway will return to Australia via England and Europe.
