Bad Weather Reduces Ohio Traffic Toll By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Traffic 1 Fire 2 Miscellaneous 0 Total 3 By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Ohio has come through the weekend with an uncommonly low accidental death toll, thanks, very likely, to the generally miserable weather, Arctic temperatures and Ice- coated roads apparently kept thousands of would-be travelers at home and the result was that not a single person died In a highway accident between 6 p.m. Friday and midnight Sunday, the period covered in the Associated Press' accidental death survey. In all, just three persons died accidentally in Ohio over the weekend, and only one is classified as a traffic death. One man toppled from a truck and fell under its wheds in an industrial plant driveway. The other two victims died in fires.

The fatalities: Friday night: None Saturday: Melvin Milam, 29, of Hartwell (Hamilton County), crushed when he tumbled from a truck and fell beneath its wheels in the driveway of an industrial plant at Cincinnati. Sunday: Robert I. Bias, about 36, died In a fire that destroyed his trailer home near Mansfield's city limits.
