No fire or crash occurred.

Emergency crews were on standby. Pilot of the Cessna-207, Bill Wilson, 37, Oak Harbor, and four passengers he had picked up from the private island were uninjured. When Port Clinton Fire Chief John Drummer arrived on the scene, he recommended rerouting the plane to Toledo. They have a crash team available there, he said. The accident occurred aboard the park's newest ride, Disaster Transport, a space-simulated roller coaster ride. A Michigan man and woman were treated at local hospital and released. However, a second man, Steve Champagne, 35, Bellevue, was flown to a Michigan hospital for a neck injury, Robin Imes, the amusement park's public relations manager said.

Imes said a train of cars loaded with eight persons struck the prop, a 6-foot diameter foam prop representing a meteorite, in the trough. The prop, weighing an estimated 100 to 150 pounds, fell from its bracket and was sitting on the tracks. Park crewman and rescuers helped the injured and others disembark the ride, Imes said. The park ambulance took the people to the hospital. The incident occurred at 4:30 p.m.

As Christians, must we still obey the Ten Commandments? Signed, A Christian Friend.

ANSWER: Dear Christian Friend; When we become a Christian, the Spirit of God enters our lives and empowers us to keep the Ten Commandments. It is only when one experiences the rebirth (John that the potential for keeping the Commandments exists. Paul says that those who are not born of God will be unable to keep the Commandments, because the Commandments are spiritual, and the one who is not born again is only flesh (Romans Jesus came to earth not to do away with the Commandments, but, rather, to empower us to live by them. "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and so teaches others, shall be called least in the Kingdom of heaven, but whosoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the Kingdom of heaven (Matthew Although we are not saved by keeping the Commandments they, nevertheless, are still Godly principles for Christian living.

As we abide in Jesus we will find ourselves keeping the Commandments because we love Him. Looking for a church? Come visit us at Fremont Alliance Church, 6th and Mulberry Streets, Fremont. Phone 3324392. Sunday Morning Worship 10:30 A.M. Sunday School for all ages 9:15 A.M.
