Willis (Bill) Kerlin 24, Route 4, Tiffin, who was killed September 24 on Hill 510 in Vietnam, 60 miles from Da Nang. The Rev.

Paul Eichar will officiate and burial will be in Memory Gardens in Arcadia. Her talk was "Minority Gcoup Concerns." Pictured with Isaac A. Bodi OAK HARBOR Isaac A. Bodi, 65, 255 east Portage street, retired fisherman, died Friday afternoon in Magruder hospital. He had been in failing health and hospitalized five days. He had been employed by Lay Brothers Fishery 30 years.

Mr. Bodi was born September 25, 1906, in Locust Point, son of Isaac and Annamae Perry Bodi. He married Florence Hanny June 18, 1926. She survives. Surviving also are eight sons, Raymond, Port Clinton; Norman, Robert, Walter, Tommy and Jack, all of Oak Harbor; Roger, Bono, and Dennie, Graytown; six daughters, Mrs.

William (Mary Ann) Wheeler, Mrs. Roger Ireland and Mrs. Albert (Betty) Delmaine, all of Port Clinton; Nancy and Mildred, both of Oak Harbor, and Mrs. Charles (Irene) Martin, Fremont; a brother, Cleo, Port Clinton; sisters, Mrs. Harold (Mary) Van Etten, Mrs.

Edward (Roberta) Sawyer, both of Genoa; Mrs. Edward (Bessie) Hanny and Mrs. Willard (Alma) Hamman, both of Oak Harbor; Mrs. Loretta Brauer, Hysaham, and 22 grandchildren. A brother, Albert, died in March and his mother in August.

His father died several years ago. Mr. Bodi was a member of St. Boniface church. Friends may call at the Robinson funeral home beginning Sunday at 2 p.m.

The Rev. Donald E. Mohr will offer a funeral Mass Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Boniface church with burial in Union cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the mortuary. Lon Auxter Lon Auxter, 81, native of Lindsey, died Friday in Seville, Ohio, where he and his wife, the former Elnoria Schwartzman, resided. Other survivors are sons, Don and Eldon, Seville; a daughter, Annabelle, Worthington; a brother, Harry, Lindsey, sisters, Mrs. Edith Strauch, Lindsey, and Mrs.

Rollie Ryer, Bowling Green. Services will be Monday in the Seville mortuary with burial there. Smith Services Funeral services for Mrs. Chattie Smith, 83, 315 Oaklawn avenue, widow of Granville Smith, will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Weller-Wonderly funeral home.

The Rev. Mahlon Wenger will officiate with burial in Oakwood cemetery. Mrs. Smith was born October 12, 1887, in Jackson township daughter of Orville and Cora Fought Havens. Her husband died in 1965.

A member of Hayes United Methodist church, Mrs. Smith was also a member of the Women's Society for Christian Service, The Daughters of the American Revolution, Ballville Farm Women's club and the Fremont Federation of Women. Surviving are sons, Willard Haven Smith, Fremont, and Robert Orville Smith, Port Clinton; thre.e grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. One daughter and one sister are also deceased. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning Saturday at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Smith died Friday in Memorial hospital, where she had been admitted Wednesday. Ohio Avenue Driver Hurt Slightly In Two-Car Crash Hoover's Assistant Retired WASHINGTON (AP) Assistant FBI Director William C. Sullivan has been forced into retirement after a series of policy disputes with Director J. Edgar Hoover, The Washington Post said in Saturday editions.

The Post said Sullivan, 59, was on sick leave Friday while his name was removed from his office door and the locks changed. He was not officially informed of the action, the dispatch read. A spokesman for the FBI declined to comment on the report further than confirming Sullivan's retirement and his replacement by Alex Rosen, head of the bureau's general investigative division. 'Hidden Subsidy' Revealed WASHINGTON (AP) The House foreign operations subcommittee says that through inflated exchange rates the United States has paid a "hidden subsidy of half a billion dollars" to the South Vietnam government in the last three years. Seven congressmen who form the subcommittee said in a letter to Secretary of State William P.

Bishops Cautioned On Publicity VATICAN CITY (AP) With the third World Synod of Bishops barely under way a dispute has erupted over the synod's relations with the press. Pope Paul VI pointed to the problem by criticizing an Italian television program on which a liberal Italian theologian charged the church as too stagnant. The pontiff also cautioned bishops against being influenced by outside pressures, including "the pressure of enticing or troublesome publicity." Ginger's Rain Continues RALEIGH, N.C. (AP-Ginger, the tropical depression that once was a hurricane, continued to pour heavy1 rain on central North Carolina today after causing extensive damage, mostly to crops, near the coast. The National Weather Service said the storm hovered near Raleigh all day Friday and was expected to remain in the area until about midday today, then edge slowly toward the mountains of North Carolina and Virginia.

Its effect, however, was felt throughout the midsections of the Carolinas and Virginia. Senate Passes School Lunch Bill WASHINGTON (AP) The Senate has passed and sent to the House a resolution directing the Nixon administration to increase federal payments to the states for school lunches for needy youngsters. The measure, passed 75 to 5 Friday, would in effect increase the federal contribution per lunch from 35 cents to 46 cents. Predicts New Nixon Initiatives LOS ANGELES (AP) Atty. Geh.

John N. Mitchell says President Nixon is going to take some startling foreign and domestic policy initiatives before the 1972 presidential election. He was wounded three times during his first 14-month tour in Vietnam. After leaving the service in 1968, he was an employe of American-Standard in Tiffin and re-enlisted last year, returning to Vietnam in July-Foster Services BRADNER Funeral services for Mrs. Iris Foster, 79, Caldwell street, widow of Charles E. Foster, a Bradner attorney, were Saturday in Bradner United Methodist church. Burial was in Bradner cemetery.

Mrs. Foster, a former Bradner school teacher, died in her home Tuesday. Her body was found Thursday. Surviving are a brother, Howard Rowe, Bradner, nieces and nephews. Mrs.

Foster was a member of the church, the Order of Eastern Star, Pemberville; the Relief Corps and Senior Citizens of Bradner. Bicyclist Hurt When Hit By Car On Brush Street An eleven-year-old north Brush street boy was treated for a leg injury and released from Memorial hospital Friday afternoon after he was struck by an automobile while riding his bicycle on Brush street. Kelly Young, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Young, 633 north Brush street, was riding his bike across the street when an auto driven by James F.

Brooks, 68, 1919 west Hayes avenue, struck him. Police reports indicated that the youth pulled out in front of Hosp ital Reports Two Girls Seriously Hurt South Of Alvada Two Toledo girls were ear. Robert Ritchey, Gibsonburg; Mrs. apprehended her in a local bar and charged her with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to control her vehicle, and leaving the scene of an accident. Jailed was Mary Lerma, who was involved in a hit-skip auto accident with a parked auto belonging to Harold J. Evert, 1927 Cemetary road. According to reports, the Lerma auto struck the Evert vehicle in the 100 block of east State street around 11:10 p.m.

Friday. The Lerma auto then sped off. Police were advised and, upon a registration check of the hit-skip auto license, the owner was found to be Mrs. Lerma. Approximately a half hour later police located the hit-skip car parked near the Buckeye Tavern on west State street.

She was apprehended from the bar. Thomas Gunthrie, 25, Tiffin, said that he was in his stopped car behind another vehicle on west State street waiting for the red light to change at the intersection of Justice street when another vehicle backed from a parking space and struck his car in the side. He said that the second car pulled away from the scene of the accident before he could get out and discuss the matter with the other drive. Damage was minor to the Gunthrie car. The mishap occurred around 10:50 p.m.

Friday. A slight accident happened around 3:45 p.m. Friday on west State street. A truck, driven by George Brown, 29, Toledo, was backing into the Poly Foam Company driveway when the trailer struck a waiting auto driven by Frank Estep, 34, 202 Kentucky avenue. driven by Marjorie Ross, 559 Crestwood avenue, was pulling into a parking space in the 400 block of west State street when it struck another parked vehicle owned by Faye S.

Coon, 1712 Hayes avenue. Damage was minor-in the mishap that occurred at 11:40 a.m. Friday. Hospital Board Elects Findley John Lee San- Wilbur Schade, Helena Snyder, Clyde; Mrs. Waggoner and daughter, reported in fair condition.

Both were passengers in a car driven by Darlene Pascko, 17, who was driving a car owned by a Toledo neighbor, Mrs. Elizabeth Kurinko. Another passenger, Ronald Wrede, 18, was treated at the Fostoria hospital for contusions of the left hand. Other passengers not injured were Clifford Neal, 15; Ethy Ann Rossdanes, 15; Diane Pascko, 14; Leslie Kay Rahn, 13, and De Anna McPherson, 15, all Toledo. The driver told Seneca county sheriff's department that she was returning to Toledo and rounded a curve before the scene of the accident.

A car passed on the double line, cutting in front of her vehicle. She lost control of the car. A passenger grabbed the wheel to turn the car back onto the road. The auto went off the road and flipped into a drainage ditch. Miss Kurinko was trapped in the car for about 15 minutes.

The stationwagon was demolished. There were ho witnesses to the accident and the driver could only remember that the car was blue or black and occupied by a man and woman. Clyde Police reported that the child was apparently standing near an ice cream truck parked on Midvale avenue Thursday evening shortly before attempting to cross the street, when she was struck by a car. She suffered head injuries and was transferred to Toledo from Memorial hospital, Fremont. One Accident Investigated Sandusky County Sheriff's Department investigated one and Federal courts, is a member of several bar associations, and particiapates in various civic organizations, including the American Legion, the Kiwanis and the Jaycees. 1:00 p.m. Friday in Seneca county on State Route 23, south of Alvada.

Brown is the youngest man -ever to occupy the office of 'Attorney General in Ohio. Born 12, 1940 in Youngstown, and reared in Cadiz, Brown was elected by a margin of more than 300,000 votes. His educational background includes a B.A. from Duquesne university and a Juris Doctorate -degree from Northern "University's College of Law. The Attorney General is admitted to practice before Ohio r7 Toledo Edison, in the process of obtaining easements throughout the proposed Davis-Besse nuclear power plant area, has filed a petition in Sandusky County Common Pleas court seeking appropriation of a 150 foot right-ofrway corridor in Riley Township. The land in question, located along County Road 265, is owned by Leroy B. and Pearl E. Pearson, 2776 east Sandusky road. According to the suit, Richard D.

and Jane Krauss, Green Springs, and Claude E. and Caroline Young, Green Springs, also may hold rights-of-way on the land. Charles H. Findley, general manager of Whirlpool Corporation, Clyde division, was elected to the board of trustees of Memorial hospital to fill out the unexpired term of Mason Feisel, former manager of the Clyde facility, according to Don Slessman, president of the hospital board. Feisel resigned from the board April 1, when he was transferred from the Clyde plant to Whirpool's main office in St.

Two Motorists Escape Injury Two drivers were uninjured in separate accidents investigated by the Fremont Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol. At 3:40 p.m. Friday, Richard Stout, 23, of Green Springs, driving a vehicle pulling a trailer, drove off the right side of the road into a ditch, swerved back onto the road and off the opposite side where the trailer broke loose and struck a power pole.

He was uninjured and was not cited. Saturday at 4:45 a.m. Lorean Bailey, 28, Route 1, Republic, was driving northeast on County Road 175 at the intersection of Limerick road. She said a car approached with bright lights. She could not see due to the fog and drove from the right side into a cornfield then back toward the road where her auto struck a telephone pole, breaking it off.

She was not injured. John Gilligan will go to Washington next Thursday to meet with top labor Department officials to protest Ohio's share of federal funds under the Emergency Employment Act. Gilligan and the Ohio congressional delegation have complained that the administration short-changed the state in the distribution funds, which will to form a "corridor" for the installation of a high-tension transmission line which will join the Ohio Edison tie point in Sandusky county with the massive new plant.
