You may announce that the commencement sermon for Oklahoma District High School will be preached Sunday June 14 by Rev. James B. Stevenson, of Guthrie, Oklahoma Territory.

DEAR BROTHER INRED your paper is a welcome visitor here. I will write a few lines for its columns, thinking you would like to hear from us.

Collins Institute is situated in a beautiful high roll ing country, about 2 miles from Stonewell. Dr. W. S. Stamper Supt, is worthy of the situation he occupies.

He has served a Superintendent of a Female College in the old state of Kentucky several years. He is a first-class teacher. Miss Fannie Johnson has charge of the literary department and Miss Rosa gives instruction in music They are both christian ladies and well qualified for the positions they occupy. Gov. Wm.

L. Byrd did wisely when he put Dr. Stamper and his estimable lady in charge of this school, but Gov. Byrd is a man of fine qualities and knows what he is about. The Chicasaw Nation may well be prond of such men as our governor and Col.
