Father Willibrord Gives Commencement Address St.

Joseph Exercises At The annual commencement exercises for the graduates of St. Joseph academy were held at the Grand era house on Tuesday night when record crowd was in attendance for the program and for the play which presented. The comedy play in tow acts, "Perplexing Situation" in which 13 students took parts, was said to ha been unusually well presented and the youngsters were congratulated very highly by those who witnessed the production. Rev. Father Willibrord made the address short but spoke to the point giving the graduates some (helpful advise and pointing out to them that they were just starting out on lii'j with their graduation rather than completing it.

Stresses Belief He also stressed the fact that two important things their religious education and the constitution, one in each hand and to follow, and believe in them would aid in brining them success. He also showed how that belief faith in small things would bring big rewards in the end. Those presented the graduating medal and diplomas were Miss Barbara Endres, Miss Agnes GcnffW, George Endres, John Otto and Leo Thele. Certificates for the completion of the eighth grade which had been signed by the state superintendent were to Mary Ran, Cathrin Richard Donelly, Eugene Ley, Alfred Rau, Herbert- Reilly, Gottfried Schmaltz and WiaKer Savoie. Other Awards Those awarded diplomas for the completion of the 20th Century Bookkeeping and natural touch and speed in typewriting were Barbara Endros, Agnes Gengler, George Endres, Leo Thele and Alberta Bezner.

Two who were awarded this diploma were John Otto and Mildren Shrove. The latter was not present to be presented her diploma. Miss Katherin Wagner and John Stroller were awarded diplomas for the completion of the 20th Century bookkeeping. Palmer students certificates were a warded to Catherine Thele, Richard Donnelly, Alfred Rau, Herbert Reilly, Gottfried Schmaltz, Walter Savoie, Irma Clark, Margaret Lessert, Helen McCoy, John Malget and John W'or ley. The honor graduate scholarship donated by Draughon's Practical business college at Oklahoma City was warded to Leo Thele.
