CHAMBERS SURPRISED One of the most unique birthday dinners was the one given by Mrs. C. E. Chambers 1012 Sixth street Thurs-1 day evening in honor of Mr. Cham.

bers' birthday, The dining table was laid for ten guests with a special birthday cake in the center of the table. Following the dinner the guests were entertained with a line party to the theatre which was appreciated by all. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Yahn, Mr.

and Mrs. Henry Johnston, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smoot and Mr. and Mrs.

R. H. Wilson. All departed at a late hour declaring Mrs. Chambers a wonderful entertainer and wishing Mr.

Chambers a happy birth day. Mr. Chambers reccived many nice gifts. DISPLAY THE FLAG Old Glory is being displayed in front of the business houses surrounding the square in orderly array, in honor of the Noble county track and field meet. There is a feeling of patriotism in the heart of every tru: American when the flag is displayed and we hope it will endure to the end.

RELEASED ON BOND Earl Bixby, who was arrested for possession of narcotics, waived hi: preliminary trial yesterday and was bound over to district court under $1,000 bond which he made, thereby gaining his frecdom temporarily. Mr. and Mrs. A. D.

Mr. Fields of the Marland-ReJ Rock Record is in Perry today attending the track and field meet and meeting old friends. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cowell and daughter Ethel Delores motored to Hutchinson, Kansas, to visit relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Cruthers and daughter Helen of Marland are here to attend the track meet.
