23rd curfew violation, $25. GUILTY PLEA Ralph Jones, 25, 315 S. 18th pleaded guilty in circuit court yesterday to a charge of unlawful use of weapons. BRIEFS Jones was fined $200 and placed on one year's probation. During the probation period, a midnight curfew was placed on Jones by the court.

Jones was charged with having a concealed pistol on his person Sept. 8. STATE GETS CAR TTie State's Attorney's office was awarded possession of a 1965 Chevrolet in circuit court yesterday. The Chevrolet had been registered to James Long, .720 Perkins Ave. State's Attorney Donald Irvin filed suit for possession of the car Aug.

14, claiming Long had consented to the use of the car in the commission of a crime. DIVORCE SUITS One divorce suit was filed in circuit court last Thursday, and three were filed yesterday. Carolyn E. SUIT DISMISSED A lawsuit filed by Jennie A. Cook vs. Patricia J. Walker was dismissed in circuit court yesterday on the motion of the plaintiff. The suit stemmed from an auto accident involving cars driven by the two parties.

"Drastic times call for drastic measures.
