other business houses opened a few hours in the morning Christ mas entertainments were held from Sunday until Christmas eve by the various churches Many Baptist Choir The choir of the Baptist church weddings taking place in Quapaw during the holi day season was that of Miss Ge nieve Wilson of Zincville and Mr Alfred Dearing of Quapaw The marriage took place Sunday af ternoon at 8 at the home of the parents Mr and Mrs George Dearing on Quapaw street with the Rev Greer pastor of the Quapaw Christian church performing the ceremony Mrs Dearing is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Ike Wil son of Zincville and is a teacher in the Zincville school Mr Dear ing is well known here having at tended school here and graduating from the Quapaw high school He is also a graduate of the North eastern Oklahoma Junior college at Miami and for the past few years has taught in the Zincville school where he is principal this year Mr and Mrs Dearing have moved into the 'Don Eversole prop erty on Kentucky avenue which was formerly the home of Mr and Mrs 1 Chambers ollowing the wedding ceremony Mr and Mrs George Dearing entertained with a wedding dinner honoring Mr and Mrs Alfred Dearing Plates
