Gelb, Bolnick Get Approval for First Valley FM Station A new FM radio station-the first one in the San Fernando Valley--has been approved by the Federal Communications Commission and will go on the air in September, it was announced yesterday. The station's call letters will be KVFM, symbolizing "Valley FM." The permit was granted to Walter Gelb, who will serve as president of the company, and Ted Bolnick, vice president.
